Atypical-Abbie
Gensou no Utahime Soprano / Soprano the Melodious Songstress Level 4 LIGHT Fairy-Type Effect Monster ATK 1400 DEF 1400 You can only use this card’s (1) effect once per turn. (1) When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 “Melodious” monster in your Graveyard. Add it to your hand. (2) Once per turn: You can send Fusion Material monsters you control listed on a “Melodious” Fusion Monster to the Graveyard, including this card, then Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. The first new card we have gotten in a while, and it's petty good! You can use Transmodify with Sonata to get an instant Fusion or you can use 1st Movement and get Canon for an instant Fusion or an Xyz Summon if you want. Let's hope that the Fusion Monsters are also going to be good.
Maeriberii Haan
Well, this pretty much turns Solo into an instant Schuberta with some grave setup, or Transmodify. Quite neat, really. It also works pretty nicely with Canon. Really liking her, finally some way to actually generate direct advantage in-archetype.
Marco Polo
Soprano has a beautiful design, and is also pretty neat. So crossover souls starting to leak? ~~crossing fingers for water shaddoll~~

So crossover souls starting to leak? ~~crossing fingers for water shaddoll~~ I still think that the WATER El Shaddoll being Trishula or a Trishula clone has some merit to it, especially since we've yet to get a Level 9 Fusion, but have gotten Fusions of every other Level from 5 to 10. Hopefully the Fusion tactics of Melodious become worth the effort, as this card would be a waste otherwise.
Maeriberii Haan
Damn, just realized it only sends from the field. It gives a slight dent to it, but it's still a good card.
玄魔の王
Damn, just realized it only sends from the field. It gives a slight dent to it, but it's still a good card. Considering she can retrieve one of the ones who auto-summon themselves she's basically Instant Fusion if you Special Summon her.

Necloth of Trishula I believe. (makes me believe that suddenly releasing an archetype for each attribute is no coincidence) Unless the Melodious fusions SS from the Graveyard, I question how viable would they be. Do we really want to break the Aria + Elegy field stall? It's been working so well. edit: oh! maybe they took that stall in mind when making Schuberta solely act as a beatstick (with some nice banishing) ? would Schuberta under Elegy and Aria be worth it? Atypical-Abbie
....They actually buffed this, huh? Neat. Yeah, but they took away the ability to use it from the hand. It might not matter as much if the Fusion Materials can be any Melodious, but if it's something specific, it might be a bit annoying to play with.
