Kingdom Xathers
I'd rather run Mirror Force over this; MF doesn't require a monster to be destroyed to nuke your opponent's monsters....

Nathanael D. Striker
But Mirror Force only destroys face-up attack position monsters. Also, it doesn't specify destroyed by battle. One could destroy their monster themselves to trigger this card.
VampireofDarkness
Also, it doesn't specify destroyed by battle. One could destroy their monster themselves to trigger this card. Do Fire Kings have any way to abuse this card then?
Yemachu
Do Fire Kings have any way to abuse this card then? No. Their monsters tend to destroy themselves, yes. But "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" does about the same as this card: When it is Special Summoned by its own effect, he destroys all other monsters on the field. So I would say they don't really have a need for it. And there is the issue that the destroyed monster needs to have an DEF of 2000 or higher; most, if not all, of their monsters have a DEF that is lower than that.
