~ P O L A R I S ~
Would've been so much better if it were SS'd from the Graveyard too and could discard itself for its cost as per Machina Fortress. As is, DDD's have a whole host of better options to Pendulum rush with.
evilfusion
it doesn't look like this even helps DDDs. You'd have to either control or run Dragon-types. Which makes sense to some degree, but not enough to consider it usable. Turning any card in hand into a +500 ATK MST is okay, since DDD have a lot of card advantage, last I heard, but you're almost definitely going to spend more effort with this card than it's worth. Premier Alexander Romanov
This is tied with its Odd-Eyes counterpart as one of the strangest deck cover cards I have ever seen.

To be fair, some DD builds use Pendulum Dragon to grab Kepler, but yeah, that still falls under the "not enough to consider it usable" part you mentioned. Armoire
I cannot understand how this helps DDDs in any way. But its last effect confuses me. Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; this card gains 500 ATK until the end of this turn, then you can destroy 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field. So do you destroy when the card is discarded or at the end of the turn? I would appreciate it if someone could clear that up for me.

As for the last effect; I do believe that it means you discard 1 card, the monster gains 500 ATK, and then right after, you can destroy an S/T; not at the end of the turn. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Someone correct me if I am wrong. You're right. New cards are all specific on their timing. This means that if your opponent chains their most precious backrows to the effect, you can hit a different one instead.
