Blake
Rengoku no Shouka/”Frozen Void” Continuous Spell You can only use the (1) effect of “Frozen Void” once per turn. (1) You can discard 1 card; add 1 “Void” Spell/Trap Card (except “Null and Void”) from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Special Summon monsters this turn, except “Infernoid” monsters. (2) When an “Infernoid” monster you control battles an opponent’s monster, after damage calculation: You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard; banish both battling monsters. Maeriberii Haan
As I've said in the other thread, the first effect is really really really good for pure 'noids. Second can be pretty decent if it works if either monsters are on the graveyard after the battle, since it becomes a pseudo DimPris that way. Expelsword
2nd effect is just bad. If we can now search out Void Launch, it might make it worth using... Pure Infernoid might just come together after all. Edit: What am I saying, Pure Infernoid dies to one card. You can't play it. Edit again:

Pure Infernoid might just come together after all. Edit: What am I saying, Pure Infernoid dies to one card. You can't play it. Edit again: imo, Pure 'noids really need Swift Scarecrow. It fills two important niches, being a way to survive the slow early game, and as something that allows you to use Reasoning, which is too good not to use even in pure. I mean, Reasoning resolving can seal off a game, and Seitsemas/Attondel can easily remove the Swift if you want to activate Rising Void and Void Launch. Basically, set up with Launch+Flood early if you can, but when you need to go fast or need to close the gap if you're too behind, use Reasoning. Then again, if the meta still carries too much spell/trap hate, then binge mill builds should in theory be more viable.

Pchi
Now Wikia has it that it's for the rest of the turn, but it also includes Normal Summons, while Org's latest errata doesn't include any restraining clause for the first effect, though that might be just a mistake on their part. CommanderVolt
Pure voids is a build i'd really like to try although tbh I have no idea how to start.. Was really hoping they'd get something that could tutor their Support and here we are..
Darj
Finally a "Void" Spell/Trap searcher. A while ago I thought TCG would have to add exceptions for non-infernoid Void cards if OCG released a "Purgatory" support card, but after researching I learned that "Void Trap Hole" and "Into the Void" actually have "Purgatory" in their OCG names so exceptions wouldn't be needed for those 2 after all, leaving only "Null and Void". Anyways, it's a bit sad that it costs a discard and I think it would have been fine if it was an on-activation single search like Tenki; but at the same time, the discard should help to fix hands clogged with Infernoids. Pchi
So, does anyone have a confirmation on how the first effect's clause should be really worded?
