Flash Flyer - Sakura
2 Level 4 Warrior-Type monsters Once per turn: You can send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard, and if it was a Equip Spell Card, attach that card to this monster. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed (either by battle or a card effect): You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and destroy 1 Equip Card you control; negate the activation and effect of that card, and if you do, destroy that card. If this card has no Xyz Materials, it gains 500 ATK. Gadj, could you fix this further? There are some things in its detach that I really don't know how to fix properly, without skewing the entire thing. ----- Anyway, the most I could see this being used is in Noble Knights or something; due to their Equips and stuff. Its detach effect is essentially negation during your own turn (to block destruction), so suppose you can use it to block stray Mirror Forces and stuff; however because you need to have an Equip Card, I honestly don't see this card getting its effect off that often. As for its last effect, 2500 ATK is about standard on a R4 now, but at that point, it's a Vanilla with no means of protection and is 101-bait. Also, please spell words properly. Trebuchet MS
Here, something like this: 2 Level 4 Warrior-Type monsters Once per turn: You can send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard, and if it was an Equip Spell Card, equip attach that card it to this monster card. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, or a card effect you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to and destroy 1 Equip Card you control and negate thats card effect and destroy it instead. Once per turn, if a card effect that would destroy this card is activated: You can detach 1 Xyz Material and destroy 1 Equip Card you control; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. If this card has no Xyz Materials, it gains 500 ATK. I had to separate the effects. Usually effects that substitute destruction by battle don't start Chains, unlike an effect akin to Stardust Dragon. Because the original effect hinted at negating an effect activation, simply substituting with "this card is not destroyed by that effect" will drastically alter it away from the intended Stardust-like effect. With the effects separated we have an additional separate OPT to track, but without any Xyz Material regeneration effects, it would hardly matter. 宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Nah the OCG should be [ACT]V/R(Mill 1)If the milled card is ≪EQUIP SPELL≫, equip it to this card. [CONT]R(Soul Blast 1, Retire 1 ≪EQUIP SPELL≫) Once per turn, when this unit is to be retired by battle or card effect, you may pay the cost. This unit is not destroyed, and destroy that monster or card. [CONT]V/R When this unit has no units in its Soul, it gains PWR +500. Obviously. Flash Flyer - Sakura
This isn't Vanguard, Toyo, even if it'd probably fit in there. What do you think the TC needs to fix, general-wise?
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Well, about the card itself. My issue is that it's kind of dependent on the mill and your hand. Also, it's limited to nonly be used in Equip-heavy decks such as Noble Knights. Even in that, it doesn't really help since NKs have much better Xyzs available. Of course, design-wise there's nothing wrong with it. Negating destruction is pretty strong but the cost is hefty and there are myriads of ways to get around it, so it won't ever really see much impact. Cloud9likeaboss
It would be really cool if you tried adding equip cards as materials to her.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
It would be really cool if you tried adding equip cards as materials to her. And why do you think that should happen? Remember, you must support your reasoning in this section. As Toyo mentioned though, only NKs have a use for this card, and even they have better things to be making.
