Sicma Crow
Hello people. I am new to this site, and I'd like to try my luck with card design. :) This here is one of the card from the set I'm working on. Hope you like it, please rate and comment. :) P.S. I have not been active Yu-Gi-Oh! player for a years, so I am not quite sure if my cards are in balance with real cards. Reptile Magician
This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in your hand, Deck or Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: Once per turn you can select 1 face-up Gemini Monster you control: it's treated as Effect Monster
Picture source: Sword-Summoner
berserk baboon
I like the artwork. The effect is interesting, but I don't see much of a use. Effect monsters specifically don't have any support that I'm aware of. Maybe if you turned this into an archetype and tried to expand on this more, but right now it seems pretty useless, and not to mention slow in todays game. Sicma Crow
@berserk baboon Thank you for commenting :) Yes, this one is a part of Gemini support cards/archetype that will be included in the set that I'm going to post soon :)

That aside, it's a great addition to the Geminis. Blazewing Butterfly and Evocator Cavelier need some new friends in Gemini support land. My biggest gripe lies with that "Deck" for the Normal Monster treatment; no other Gemini monster does this, if only to not splash into excessive Normal Monster support. Forest Fire
Wouldn't this need to say 'and gains it effects' or something to give them their effects (like blazewing does)? or am i just being weird? Either way, this can be exceedingly powerful or exceedingly underwhelming, depending on the situation. so... it could really go either way. Flash Flyer - Sakura
This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in your hand, Deck and Graveyard. While this card is a Normal Monster on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect. ● Once per turn: You can target 1 Gemini Monster you control; it becomes an Effect Monster and gains its effect. Further fixing the effect to use proper OCG (by PSCT standards); we don't use "select" anymore, it's target. --- Anyway, this essentially works like the aforementioned Blazewing Butterfly; except that it doesn't need to Tribute itself to change stuff into an Effect Monster. If anything, it's an OPT Supervise. Granted, it helps Gemini Decks out a bit though; but that much said, the new Red-Eyes support does contain a fair amount of Gemini Monsters; but I honestly don't see much synergy with them. However, that's one thing that should be kept in mind with this effect. --- A small nitpick, but the type wording nowadays is [Type / Subtype1 / Subtype2] So, Reptile / Gemini / Effect. Just make it as a normal Effect Monster, and just include the Gemini typing with the regular one. Don't worry about not putting bullet points; you can just use a dash if needed. Bullet points work, but only for Vanilla monsters. Don't ask why though; it's something only YCMaker can answer, and he's dead.
Tinkerer
Huh. This is the only Gemini monster that is a normal while in the hand/deck as well as field/grave. This does give it tons of benefits of normal monster support such as heart of the underdog, common charity, and fusing from the hand into 1st of the dragons (just to name a few things). Personally, I think it's a buff that all Gemini monsters could've used, but I wanted to point it out to anyone who overlooked that part of the effect. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Indeed, it is rather amusing that this also carries the Normal status while in the hand or Graveyard; normally, they only keep that while on the field. I didn't overlook it, but rather chose not to say it since someone already mentioned that to a certain degree. TC did mention that he's making more cards; perhaps they'll give them that push to make them relevant again (barring Red-Eyes stuff). We'll just have to see. Sicma Crow
Thank you all for your suggestions and comments :) I wasn't sure about "it's treated as Effect Monster" part too, but that one seemed right, thanks for correcting. I didn't ever realize Bullets and "Reptile / Gemini" mistake, I'm not used to YCM, I make cards in MSE... Which brings me to a question: Is it ok to upload MSE-made cards here, it's kinda big deal to remake full set in YCM. :) Thanks again guys :)
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Yes, you can post MSE cards here (or stuff from YugiCo / however you design cards). There is no requirement that you need to use YCM's cardmaker; though it is easier to post them. Just left-click for the IMG code and you paste that into the post. Basically, I took the effect from Elemental HERO Neos Alius (the generic Gemini text) and adjusted it to fit yours. (Talking about its effect fixing) -- Don't worry about the bullets and Reptile / Gemini (or whatever typing system Konami introduced as of Duelist Advent / Alliance); not really a big deal.
