Chaofeng, Legend of Yang Zing

Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
If this card was Synchro Summoned, your opponent cannot activatethe effects of monsters with the same original Attribute as the Attribute of a "Yang Zing" monster used for the Synchro Summon of this card. When this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 Tuner monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, when a monster(s) your opponent controls is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Wyrm-Type monster from your Deck in Defense Position, whose Attribute is the same as at least 1 of the original Attributes those destroyed monsters had.

You're probably going to hear me talking about Blackwings a lot in the future but this thing is really really good. The fact that Whirlwind can now be used well with Blizzard because of this is amazing, as you can go Blizzard, search Pinaka, make Nothung, summon Pinaka, swing with Nothing and Pinaka while doing 800 and dropping something's attack, and then you can sync for this, search for Kris or something with Pinaka and when this dies search a tuner so you can make Tamer Joe and bring back Nothing. Seems like a great play out of just a Whirlwind and a Blizzard. You can even possibly make it with Yazi and Blizzard to negate all Shaddolls/Burning Abyss monsters.

Oh, and it's probably good in Yang Zing too, and anywhere with Tuners that can make 9s, it's definitely better than Giganticastle in a deck with Tuners.

Just because of this 1 card alone, I feel like playing Yang Zings, even with their Zefras.

The Zefras are a huge boost to the Deck in my experience. They solve the problem of drawing too many monsters, Qiuniu searches out the stuff you want, and Fuxi gives you added Synchro power. Add to that Oracle to search them and then stack your draws when you Synchro.

If you make this turn 1 against Burning Abyss by way of Jiaotu, Taotie and Bixi, they pretty much lose unless they can Raigeki you.

Actually, thats just This card in general.
I mean, given the fact that, realistically, multi-Attribute Decks are an oddity/rarity, This card can easily screw them over. Plus, the fact This card can feed other Yang Zing plays, means it's just going to be a massive issue unless it's delt with right away.

Very true. Yesterday I made it against tellars with Chaofeng, and the guy couldn't figure out why his effects wouldn't activate, spending 5k of his last 5900 Life on a Soul Charge to make a Delteros he could not use.

It's honestly an extremely unfair card, it just happens to exist in a deck that fucking sucks.

I like the deck well enough, but it's "Jiaotu/Pendulums or die", and it's entirely too reactive. You're only going to get a search they're not going to play around once in a match, because they won't play into you more than once.

It does allows Jiaotu to be "yeah i win", though.

Jiaotu -> Qiuniu/Chiwen -> Block either DARK or LIGHT while laddering, LIGHT being optimal due to getting Baxia off
Jiaotu -> Taotie/Bixi -> Block DARK and WATER (relevant, considering Nekroz in general and Shadoll post-CROS)
Jiaotu -> Fuxi/Qiuniu -> Block EARTH, keep Jiaotu on board for MP2 plays

Jiaotu can't do it with FIRE/WIND on his own, but that's what general floating is for.

It also makes Pulao better (fitting, considering it looks like Mega!Pulao), as that blocks a decent amount of generic cards, RB, and leaves you immune to spells.

I hate this so much ^.^'

It makes decks extremely dependant on traps or removal cards, and it does give you advantage even if destroyed.

Also they can easily keep resummoning this, which is a nightmare if your deck is Monster-centered

I hope it gets limited/semi one day bc my Fluffs dont even have a chance against this for now TwT

Which is funny at the same time, because Yang Zings capialize on the fact they ARE a multi-Attribute.dek, and have bosses/etc that screw over other decks that are single-attribute.
It's like reverse-Clear World.dek

Isn't that why Yang Zing play cards like Torrential Tribute, to force the issue themselves?

not TT, they're prone to not being able to use it at an adequate time due to missing timing

Dark Hole is a go, though. The issues still remain.

Of course they do. I'm just discussing ways to mitigate them.

Another annoyance is Creation messing with the Pendulums.

Lava Golem can be dodged by only keeping 1 Monster on the field at a time. Volcanic Queen and Santa Claws will do it, but good luck with that.

if the only monster they ever have on the field is a single chaofeng, then odds are i'm never going to be in danger of losing my LP anyways, so it evens out. but yeah, this thing maxed out will be an absolute wyrm beast to face under practically any circumstance.
