Zauls
So you'll all have heard about what happened with Top Gear's JC. If you haven't, you need to get your head out of the sand. What are your opinions on what happened? Should he have been sacked? Should he be in prison? What is next for Jezza? Will other TV stations end up in a bidding war for him? Personally, I think sending a man to A&E while on the job deserves a sacking and an assault inquiry, but I really fucking miss Top Gear.
Fusion X. Denver
I never watched Top Gear, so I haven't felt that affected by the whole ordeal. I can sympathize with people missing him, but the dude should have known better than to punch someone, let alone a producer. He did it over a stupid reason too. .Rooster
There are loads of Top Gear episodes we probably didn't watch, so we don't really need to worry for now.

I don't watch Top Gear either, mind you, but you just don't do that and not expect any consequences.
~British Soul~
The producer he assaulted said earlier today that he won't press charges against Jeremy Clarkson and would like all parties to move on as soon as possible, ofc North Yorkshire police will continue to interview witnesses and take them into account before issuing a statement. And as much as I will miss Top Gear and how good JC is, I agree, assaulting a man whilst on the job is a sackable offence and he shouldn't have been given another chance after that. Aerion Brightflame
Whilst what Jeremy actual did was idiotic, and I will miss him, I have to applaud his behavior afterwards. Given that he was the one who reported the offence to the BBC, and the producer who was insulted seemed to show no intention of doing it himself. That and keeping his degree of comments somewhat to a minimum... yeah he behaved well afterwards. Shame that Top Gear won't exist in a recognizable format after this. Yeah, he knew he was in the wrong for doing that and you're right he was being the bigger man and reporting it himself. I suppose it was better for him to do it himself rather than let things escalate if he didn't. (Like witnesses complaining "Why has noone reported the incident yet?") Tentacruel
Sacked? Yeah. Prison? Not really. Unless he hit a woman or something, people don't usually get prison time for hitting someone.
Cin
I can't help feel the internet trolls could have influenced his decision. Sometimes they can go to prison such as cases of where the punch has proved fatal or caused serious injury.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
I will miss Top Gear without a shadow of a doubt. Watched the last 8 Seasons the day it was aired, every year. Have the first 14 on DVDs, the rest are on my laptop. So yeah, no more Top Gear means a good chunk of what I enjoy will be lost. Should he be fired? Probably. It was the right thing to do but it wasn't necessarily the best, at least from a monetary standpoint. I may be a bit biased but I desperately want Clarkson to come back in some manner, at least just so that Top Gear can have a proper blowout finale before it's done. For such a long running TV Show, one that is watched my the most people globally at that be canceled like this is just depressing, to be honest. Cool Girl
Well said, you guys! I totally agree with what you said. I will miss Top Gear. I used to watch it a lot when I was in 8th grade!
goodfusion
Never liked Top Gear or JC. Too many cars, which I hate. They should simply remake the show into a program about bicycles instead, then I would watch it.
