Actually, since there's no way I can compete with Aix's app (mostly because he's a chet), I might change to a male knight instead.

 

Is that alright? Or should I think of something else?

They want only one of each class, so probably not.

 

I'm gonna work on...maybe a couple apps and figure out what I want to play from there. But question in case I go one route. Would it be fine to have a mute character that in-game can only communicate through text bubbles?

Hmm, that's interesting. Hadn't considered that, but yeah, I'm sure there's a way the game could manage it. So go ahead!

Additionally, he does not usually sport the light armor set depicted, as its coloring makes it impractical when stealth may be necessary, but instead wears a variant that is made up of mottled green and brown fabric that helps him blend into forested landscapes. That being said, Tadashi does don the orange, slightly dressier outfit when in Safe Cities or attending more formal gatherings. ']

 In real life, Takeshi is a great deal more built and stands several inches higher than his in-game counterpart at 6'2". His body is heavily scarred from his time on the war front, as is his mind. His hair is a dark shade of brown, as are his eyes, and he normally wears a solid colored T-shirt. Tadashi is used to drawing attention wherever he goes, and has come to terms with the glances of fear and disgust that often accompany his travels. How could he blame them? All they can see is the red tinged icon that is an all too telling sign of a killer. This often places Tadashi in isolation, not by choice, but by public opinion. This leads to Tadashi often being viewed as quite sullen and broody, a result of his forced isolation. However, if one were to openly engage him, they would find that Tadashi is not as cold or mean-spirited as his reputation may describe. In fact, he is quite personable and welcoming, always excited to be included. In a non-combat situation, Tadashi has a habit of being a bit clumsy. Seeing as his body is accustomed to functioning without the use of his left arm, he is prone to knock things over and overreach for things.

 

Tadashi is protective of other players, especially low-leveled players, and NPCs alike, a product of his military training to protect civilian lives. After Lockdown Day, Tadashi began to act as a guard and guide to low-leveled that wished to partake in a dangerous journey or quest. Unfortunately, it was during one such excursion that Tadashi was cursed with Red Status.

 

During the battle for Mizar, Tadashi was primarily concerned with seeing players that did not wish to risk battling for the city to safety. Guiding a small group of fairly inexperienced players out of the city, Tadashi was too busy looking behind himself for monster attacks that he didn't notice the ambush set for fleeing players by a local PK Guild before they were already thoroughly entangled in their trap. What happened next would quickly spread as the stuff of legends. Overcome with concern for the players' well-being, Tadashi went into a frenzy that resulted in eight members of the PK Guild being skewered with arrows. More shockingly, each player that had been killed had each been struck with only a single arrow. This feat earned him the title The One Shot Archer, but also marked him as a killer. From there on, Tadashi would bear the Red Status. Whispers of his mighty display quickly spread through Lore, and many false images and high expectations of The One Shot Archer seemed to circulate in the minds of the public. Images and expectations that Tadashi is growing tired of dealing with.

 

Since Lockdown Day occurred, symptoms of Tadashi's PTSD, a lingering effect from his time in war, have slowly been making their way into his in-game persona. The reason that Tadashi is now trapped in Lore was his inability to cope with the monotony of civilian life, which left his mind to analyze and dramatize the horrible acts he had seen and the necessary, but sometimes cruel, orders he had to carry out. Originally thinking he would wield a musket in Lore, Tadashi had to abandon this idea when upon picking up the gun, he was immediately struck with involuntary flashbacks of his active duty. It is inevitable that these hallucinogenic episodes will eventually prove to be a danger to his well-being. More than anything else, he tries to hide these symptoms from others. Already he has a hard enough time gaining the trust of his guildmates, if they found out that he was a danger to them, they might kick him out entirely.

When entering conflict, Tadashi instinctual distances himself from the danger, so as to provide better cover and support with his bow. Often taking position in nearby trees, Tadashi rains down a devastating barrage of arrows to take out any enemies that may make their way passed another player's defenses. His main objective is always to ensure the lives of others, which occasionally puts him in tough situations. Impossible to live up to his title, Tadashi is not able to immediately dispatch an enemy with a single shot unless they boast a laughably low amount of defense. Still, his accuracy is high above the average amount and results in one of the largest records of critical hits that have ever been logged in Lore. If Tadashi runs out of arrows, he puts even more distance between himself and the conflict so that he can the access main inventory screen and equip a new set of arrows, a task that takes approximately 2 minutes to complete and requires him to remain still. If he is forced to move during this process, he will have to start over.

Tree Walker's Garb<Light Armor>: Providing very little in the way of defense, this outfit can barely be classified as armor. Fortunately, what it lacks in defensive attributes, it makes up for in speed and agility. Granting its wearer elven-like quickness and the ability to scale structures with ease, this armor set is perfect for range-based classes. ((Tadashi owns two variants of this armor. Orange and mottled green))

Death's Feather<Compound Bow>: One of the most powerful compound bows, it is the only bow in the game of Lore to provide the user with a zoom screen when the bow is drawn. Arrows fired from this bow are imbued with a type of energy that drains the mana of the target in addition to dealing damage to their health.

Plentiful Quiver<Storage>: Able to store a total of 36 arrows, twice the average arrow storage capability, on the wearer's person.

Silver Arrows<Projectiles>: Sturdy arrows that deal extra damage against nocturnal monsters.

Hunting Knife<Basic Knife>: (Unequipable)(Non-upgradeable) A standard hunting knife.

<Sleeper Arrow>: Imbued with mana, this arrow does not damage the target but instead causes drowsiness. Symptoms usually include blurred vision and clumsy movements. Most notably, the status effects of this attack lead to a greater chance of critical hits.

<Heaven's Blight>: Shooting a single arrow, imbued with a large amount of man, up into the sky, a storm of arrows rains down, covering a large, general area. These arrows have no accuracy to them and are generally only effective against a hoard of enemies. This skill results in the user being depleted of 18 arrows.

<Archer's Frenzy>: This is a skill that Tadashi has only been able to effectively use once(during the retreat from Mizar) and is suspected to be an Unguided Skill, as it bears no conditions or prerequisites that Tadashi can view. This skill seems to grant the user an uncanny level of speed, accuracy, and strength, resulting in the near insta-death of chosen targets. This will thoroughly deplete mana and stamina and has an active time of only a few seconds.

  • Takeshi served as a specially trained sniper whilst on active duty and lost his arm when the truck he was riding in hit an IED. 
  • The only living family that Tadashi has is a step-father and a half-sister, whom unbeknownst to him, is also trapped in Lore.

Hamon stands at an average of 170 cm. He has generally messy and unkempt, short, auburn hair complimented with his golden colored eyes. He is generally somewhat lax in posture and, while it is somewhat close to how he acts, doesn't seem to give off a rather unfriendly vibe about himself. His general outward demeanor is either that of a man who seems far too sure of himself or just a bit on the apathetic side of things. 

 

When he's not in combat, he generally forgoes his usual armor and wears more casual gear. This generally includes a black coat, a white striped shirt, and black dress pants with  boots.

Hamon is a man who generally has an aura of cockiness about him. He, generally, outwardly expresses himself as a man who seems to be stronger than the rest of the people. Someone who is completely confident in their own skills to take them the distance and be able to fight off any sort of challenge that comes his way. In compliment with his arrogance, he generally tries to act tougher than he is towards those he doesn't really know. Even with those who he is close with he still tends to act higher and mightier than he is. While he does have a sort of respect for the other classes and the roles they play, he simply thinks of his as the most impressive. This is simply bolstered by the class of his being the only one of the mighty strength classes to not rely on any sort of weapons and be the closest in the fight. 

 

Once a solo player when the Lockdown first occurred, Hamon was pretty inept at social interaction with other players and when he had learned of player killers, had even more so distrust of them. With his own life going nowhere in the real world, he came to see this world as a blessing, which turned off many people from him as well. He continued playing under the assumption that he would be able to defeat the long war of attrition that was the Lockdown all by himself. Though, with his low intelligence and poor decision making, he continued to get himself into more trouble than he could handle, and nearly got himself killed on multiple occasions, thus creating the need to find a party that would accept him. 

 

This has lead Hamon to being a person who has an overall respect for a leader's position, and while he only started following a party out of necessity, he quickly came to be happy to follow the orders of the leader. In regards to the other guild members, he knows that they are all in the same predicament and all are out to watch each others back. So while he might be the most caring, nurturing, or patient of people, he still cares for all of their lives. As such, using his role as the most close range class in the game, he tends to try and lock down foes or assist the other tanks of the group in keeping the most mobile of foes at pay, so the less meaty members of the group can still do their jobs unimpeded...though he has a tendency to get a bit carried away and even tunnel vision on a singular enemy before him at times.

  • Roaring Lion's Charge: The user simply pushes off the ground off a single leg with as much power as they can. This sends the user hurtling in the direction they pushed off and if the user comes in collision with an enemy or obstacle they lose all momentum and punch.

Slightly above average height, Natasha is neither large nor small. She often sports a calm and peaceful look on her face. Her skin is pale, and in combination with her silver hair gives an almost angelic look to her. Most people would describe her as pretty, however her image is that of an untouchable beauty.
Her body is slim, but muscular, and has breasts on the smaller side of things. She says it's much easier to deal with that way, which seems to indicate her real life self is somewhat more well-endowed.
She's usually wearing armor, even when in safe cities, but when she's out of armor she tends to wear well-fitted but simple clothes.

She tries to keep up appearances to look somewhat presentable, however other than that she doesn't worry too much.

Her armor looks like the armor in the picture, however it is more bulky and thick by virtue of being heavy armor.

[spoiler=Personality] Natasha is a very calm and friendly person, despite her mutism. Or perhaps because of it. She treats everyone with respect and is probably the best listener you’d ever meet. She takes time to pay attention to everything others say and always attempts to help them out with whatever problem they are having. She has a soothing demeanor that has often helped her out in negotiation situations and can have an effect of people in trouble being drawn to her.

She is extremely caring and feels a nearly physical compulsion to protect others. Not just physical protection either. She is part knight, part councillor, part mother-figure. Natasha attempts to console those who are struggling with the horrible situation that has befallen them.
She isn’t highly religious, however she does have faith in some sort of higher power that wants them to succeed and do good deeds. Even though she was born mute she sticks to this belief. It’s part of what got her through life, despite her dream of being a police officer like her father being all but unobtainable due to the circumstances of her birth.

Natasha utterly detests anything unjust and evil. She has admitted that this comes from her father’s real world job. She can occasionally be somewhat narrow-minded when it comes to wrong-doings, though she struggles to keep her cool. Being on Natasha’s bad side is practically a death sentence, as she is stubborn when it comes to righting wrongs and will pursue the matter with a fury that belies her usual calm exterior.

Before she started playing video games, Natasha's favorite thing to do was read sci-fi and mystery novels and try and solve all the unsolved mysteries in real life as well as fiction. She adores coming up with theories, though sometimes goes a little overboard with her imagination. She’s quite deductive, but also occasionally adds in odd and out of place detail into her “mental report" of a person. Such as “This person has a fear of yellow lolipops." and “This girl likes to shower five times a day"
Natasha forgets sometimes to speak when she's holding something. She has used sign language almost all her life so she doesn't always remember to use the text speech in-game.

Natasha sometimes struggles with setting her personal expectations of herself too high and this has led her to obsessively trying to fix a “problem" that she has no control over, and/or is not a true issue. She also sometimes over-analyzes things and it leads to her worrying about a person/event far more than is healthy.

Inali's in-game appearance is that of an average height (153 cm) teenage woman. Her long, flowing light blond hair accentuates her unnaturally bright green eyes, two features which have attracted many a male player over her time in Lore. Not to mention, she has a near-perfect slim figure with barely any excessive body fat, discounting her rather large breasts. Fitting her role of a team cheerleader and idol, Inali's expression seem to always be shining brightly with vigor and energy, a sincere warm smile over her face at all times no matter the circumstances. Unlike Haruka's youthful innocence, Inali more radiates an aura of grace and warmth, which is rather ironic since Inali looks and is younger than her. The way she carries herself, her subtle movements, all reminds one of an elegant, delicate maiden.

Whether in battle or not, her appearance remains the same: Scantily clad armor reminiscent of Eastern dancers. A black breastplate, baggy white semi-transparent pants, and little crimson dancing shoes. On various parts of her body are several pink tattoo-like markings, somewhat resembling that of dragons in design. These aren't a part of her avatar, and is simply an effect given from the armor she wears.

True to her real-world self, Inali in-game is an upbeat, optimistic young woman who seeks to do one thing and one thing only: Make people happy. Of course, that's kind of par of the course when you're being drilled to be an Idol. She's a very "Feel, not think" kind of person and generally tries to avoid negative thoughts, which makes her not really well-suited for strategy and so on. However, that's not to say that she's a complete genki girl. There are of course times where she wants sad, or lonely, but she just doesn't allow herself to be like that. It can be said that she forces herself to be happy at times, shutting down what her true feelings are so the other guild members can enjoy her performance to the fullest.

Inali's own feelings, for the most part, depends on those around her. Though she tries to not feel down, if everyone around her is a major downer, it'll eventually get to her. Though normally, she tries her best to cheer people up before she starts feeling down, so she's still rarely down or upset. Her way of speaking can sometimes be annoying to others. Either she speaks in a slow, low tone where she would sometimes even throw in old lady language (Ara ara~), or she goes ham, and starts sounding like a personal trainer or motivational speaker. Basically, just non-stop barrages of telling people to be happy and not give up and so on.

Her passion lies in performing, as well as admiring beauty. What beauty? Basically every kind. Paintings, dances, architectures, views, anything. She loves culture and hopes to see all the game world has to offer, even though she knows full well the risk of exploring in Lore Online. As for performing, she basically just took the Idol dancing experience she has in real life and combines it with the in-game traditional dances. It's a cross between traditional Chinese dances (with fans and so on), and middle eastern clothes and hip movements. People seem to love it, and Inali herself greatly enjoys doing it.

One of Inali's flaws is that she's somewhat of an attention whore. Not exactly "Put me in the spotlight all the time or I'll throw a hissy fit", but more "Please pay attention to me and tell me I'm pretty" sort of way. She's not afraid to put on an act if it means people would love her more. For now, this part of her hasn't gotten too annoying... Yet. But it will grow the more people adore her. It's also worth noting that due to her generally carefree nature, Inali isn't the most perceptive of people. She'll often overlook details and act irrationally, but, she makes up for this by being a good judge of character. She can tell what people are really feeling quite easily, and can then try to motivate them back on their feet.

As such, she's also the Heart of the guild, in some ways. She tries her best to keep everyone in high spirits despite the somewhat grim situation. Either through her performances, her motivational speech, or her general upbeat positive attitude, or her Skill "Hyper Rebirth", she aims to please everyone and aid them however she can in the quest to leave Lore.[/spoiler]

Made with the femur of a legendary dragon, it is said to protect the user against any dragon attacks. (Damage with Dragon pets +30% Grants skill: "Lord of Dragons")
  • Ruby Lord Dragon: A Dragon pet obtained from defeating a powerful Highland Dragon. Small yet powerful, it specializes in fiery attacks, capable of scorching enemies to death. However, it can be quite difficult to control. It will only listen to experienced Dragontamers, but it will reward whoever is strong enough to tame it with undying loyalty. (Min Dragon Mastery required: 65% Skill: Eternal Flame)

Being a Tamer, Inali tends to stay away from short-range conflict personally, instead preferring to control her pet from a medium-to-long range. After all, Ruby Lord is much, much, much more powerful than he is physically. Outside of her pet, Inali likes to use debuff and buff spells, though she's not as good with them compared to Clerics. She also has some fire spells of her own, though nothing too high level. Like with other Skill players, she has little to no defense and goes down quickly if you close in on her.

Sample Skills:
Eternal Flame (Pet Skill): With direction given from Inali, Ruby Lord releases a stream of hot fire at whoever is near him. Despite having short range, it can set basically anything ablaze and stays burning for a long time, true to its name. (AoE attack, Light Fire Damage over time. Medium cooldown)
Lord of Dragons (Weapon Skill): The tunes played through Ruby Dragonscale Flute gives off an eerie high-pitched noise Dragons simply cannot stand. Upon hearing it, weaker dragons would either flee completely, or stand down defenseless. Stronger dragons don't seem to be as affected, but they'll still be weakened from the melody.
Hyper Rebirth: Inali sacrifices her own life as well as her pet's to temporarily give a large buff to targeted party members. EDIT: OKAY! Aria/Aika's profile is FOR REALSIES done now. Wasn't satisfied with the personality part, and I think appearance is done. Generally I'm not used to Personality parts in a Character Sheet; the RP's I've been in have only done Backstory where we give enough info about what the character's been through, and this (in turn) gives a little insight on who the character is. The rest of the personality is usually just seen from how they interact with others. BUT, different strokes for different folks!

Appearance: Zaifer is a short character, standing only about 5"5, with a fairly toned body. Despite the fact that the game openly gives you the option to remove battle damage, Zaifer opted to keep any battle scars he received, making his body scarred and burned all over, as if to symbolize his skills or at the very least his many hours spent playing Lore. Despite his muscular build though, he's quite thin, and weighs barely over 170lbs. As far as facial appearance goes, Zaifer could be considered, to put it in anime terms, a bishi, though he dislikes being called this. He has medium length with white hair, with some of his bangs always falling between his eyes or rarely in front of them. In fact, his character h been compared to Riku from Kingdom Hearts once or twice, despite his not having intended the comparison. His eyes are blue and kind of large for a male character model, that seem to bear a spark of confidence in them. Beneath his eye is a black rune, that really serves no purpose outside of aesthetics. When starting to fight he always seems to have a lopsided smirk on his face, that turns into a full war snarl once combat commences.

 

As far as clothing goes, Zaifer decided to go with a mix of modern and old oriental image. Despite his choice to play as a Samurai class, he only wears full traditional Japanese clothing for ceremonial purposes like player weddings. Instead, he uses the a style lock option to wear a long sleeveless black coat that he never has zipped, revealing his chest and stomach over his armor. The back of his coat bears a large dark blue cross with a skull in the center, and the coat itself has multiple zippers and pockets, none of which seem to serve any gameplay functions. His stomach is wrapped in multiple bandages, whether he has a wound there or not . For pants, he wears a set of dark blue purplish samurai hakama, with white lined pockets. The boots he wears are long and extend to about the middle of his shins, with multiple steel locked straps to hold them in place, and are made out of a black leather obtained from dragon skin, or so the item description says. Lastly, swords can wear down on the skin, thus Zaifer's hands are bandaged over from the constant sword use. Lastly, Zaifer wears a long black headband on his forehead, in a similar fashion to the Shinsengumi seen in modern anime. It should also be noted that despite the fact that he technically wears two armor sets, only one of them holds any bearing on his character stats. The Devil Coat, while a high level piece of armor itself, does NOT affect his stats in any way and is purely for aesthetics.
 

Personality: Zaifer was given the name Yukio at his birth, and thus endured quite a bit of taunting and teasing throughout his elementary and junior high life, due to the name Yukio's sounding so girly. Because of this, Yukio found it difficult to socialize with people in the real world. When he did find friends though, he was always rather loyal to them and enjoyed being the center of attention. Often times he'd crack jokes among them, diffuse any fights, and would often offer advice when they needed it. Still, he didn't make very many friends. That's when Yukio was drawn to the world of VRMMO's. Something about them made it easier for Yukio to socialize and be himself with people on it, with this skill eventually transitioning into the real world as well. Needless to say, Yukio fell in love with VRMMO's because of this.

 

That's how Yukio became Zaifer. He'd quickly learn the fundamentals, meta, and stat builds of each game he played and ultimately started to devise ways to go against meta or make a new "OP build". While this was good from a gaming standpoint, it also sparked a touch of elitism in Zaifer. Normally he's a kind and polite boy, but in debates about stat/class builds and meta, he adopted an ego and came to the conclusion that it was his way or you were a complete moron for not following it. Given he was rarely wrong when it came to superior builds his ego didn't diminish in that area, but because of this he was slow to admit when he was.

 

Then "Lockdown Day" happened, and Zaifer was trapped in the game of Lore with everyone else. Unlike most people though, he didn't particularly care that he was forced to stay in the game. He was being kept alive in the hospital via life support as well as fed there too, so he had little to worry about in his mind. In fact, he was happy that he was no longer able to log out. What was more, he never really stopped looking at Lore as anything more than just a game. To clarify, he was fully aware of the permanence of death and the very real dangers that the game posed, but to him that only strengthened the experience. So he still treated the game like it was nothing more than a game. Still, Zaifer understands that not everyone shares his view, so when possible he'll attempt to protect any other players fighting tooth and nail for survival.

 

 

Combat Information

 

Fighting Style Apart from the standard fighting style employed by most Samurai class users, Zaifer uses a somewhat mixed fighting style that incorporates moves from Judo, Capoiera, Yagyu Shinkage-ryu, a less disciplined Shoken Kotetsu-ryu, and what he could learn from Hiken Mitsurugi-ryu. Admittedly, the large majority of this fighting style is mostly undisciplined and in it's most basic form, due to him learning several different styles at once. He did however take a Judo class while he was in high school, but the rest of it is somewhat untested and very basic. Against a real student of many of these arts, he'd likely fall short, due to the difference in devotion between himself and the opponent.

When entering battle, he's cautious, but not necessarily careful. Zaifer is usually the onto draw first blood from his enemy, be they human or monster. While he's not like this in real life, he makes no effort to hold back in game. Even so, he makes sure to plan and strategically plan his moves and attack in the most effective way he possibly can and often times opening and closing the HUD and both his and his opponents stat screens to quickly and accurately see how the battle is going and will go forward on.

  • Tokuma Half-plate - Medium Armor: A mid-range armor dropped for a limited time event dungeon by Oni Brigands. It boasts high defense for medium armor, as well as a side effect that increases the wearers HP and SP by a small amount. Zaifer has upgraded his set to further increase the defense and give him slight resistance to magic
     
  • Tsukidachi -  Katana: A beautifully made Katana that can only be forged by a master Blacksmith. It's razor sharp edge allows it to cut even the thickest of armor. The blade itself has an increase to the users attack speed. However, this effect is only in play while Tsukidachi is drawn.
     
  • Exalted Ring and Blades: A rare ring that can only be obtained via monster drop from high level Angel type Bosses. It enhances the users base damage by half it's original damage without bonus's, regardless of stats or class. Zaifer purchased his from a player shop.

Sample Skills:

  • Heaven Cleaving Blade: A straight forward lunge propelling the user straight towards the target, then shoots a slight ki blast forward to extend range. The lunge only extends about 8 ft. though, with the ki blast only adding another 2-4 ft. depending on the users Intelligence. The skill has an auto-tracker on it, however it's not powerful to fully lock onto a target, merely aim better. This fature can be turned on and off at the will of the user.

    Cooldown: 5 seconds

     

  • Striking Swallow: Not necessarily a parry, but can be and is recommended to be used as one. Striking Swallow is a powerful horizontal slash that propels the user 3 ft to either the right or the left as well. If timed correctly, then the attack will parry any other melee attack, or act as a dodge. If the attack lands as a parry though, the damage inflicted is doubled.

    Cooldown: 10 seconds

     

  • Mugen Circle: User draws the blade in circular motion and parries any melee attack apart from backstabs. Upon striking, it inflicts a stun that lasts for about 10 seconds. It also knocks the assailant back 4 ft. so combos using Mugen Circle are difficult but powerful.

Standing at 210cm, Ko is one of the physically largest player characters by virtue of having used the largest model during character creation.  Along with his towering height comes the physical manifestation of a high strength stat, his towering form covered heavily in muscles.  Over those muscles lays darkly tanned skin, which is void of body hair and heavily tattooed.  The tattoos themselves are mostly tribal patterns done in plain black, though they glimmer when he is struck by an attack.  His face is firm in shape, as if it were chiseled from stone and set upon his form.  Covering him from the upper lip down is an impressive beard and mustache combination which hangs several centimeters down from his jawline.  His head is completely bald and smooth, such that it shines if the light hits it in the right way.  Upon his forehead is a holy symbol of Shirazad, as is common among Player and NPC monks in game.
 
As far as clothing is concerned, Ko is something of the typical monk.  He wears a number of well-fitting, breathable robes to cover his body with differing color schemes.  Each robe corresponds to a different type of environment one could be found in.  For example, he has a heavier and more insulated robe which he wears in the colder regions of the game world while he has a tighter fitting one to be worn when the risk of falling into the sea exists.  Most commonly, he wears a somewhat-loose fitting robe of orange and gold with a hood that can be pulled up to cover his head if the need arises.  Accompanying this robe is a string of grapefruit-sized prayer beads which hangs around his neck.  Each bead is inscribed with a person's name.  In place of the gauntlets most monks wear, his forearms are wrapped in narrow lengths of chain, each link bearing blades which interlock and give the appearance that he is wearing mail armor.  Each of these chains ends in a large delta-shaped blade which rests against either of his elbows.  The shoes upon his feet vary with his robes, ranging from comfortable sandals for beach going or heavy fur boots for the snow.  Most often, they are a pair of simple leather-soled shoes that allow his feet to breath.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality]
In spite of his intimidating appearance, Ko is actually quite a nice person.  He is polite to all that he meets, even if they are not polite to him.  He bows to shopkeepers, whether they be player or npc, and removes his shoes before entering buildings.  In terms of greetings, he prefers "good morning," "good afternoon," or "good evening" depending on the time of day.  Interestingly enough, he prefers to speak at a lower volume and very rarely raises his voice.  Those that know him know that if he is speaking up, he likely has something very important to say.  Going along with his polite disposition is a preference to find nonviolent solutions to problems if the option exists; he has a particular dislike for the dueling mechanic.
 
As for being trapped in a game, he came to terms with it a short time after learning that he would be trapped indefinitely inside of the virtual world.  However, he does not want to become lost in the game world.  He does not want to forget that the real world exists, and begin to live as if he had always been a part of Lore.  To that end, he carved the names of his family members on his prayer beads and reads them every day while he meditates and remembers the life he had in the real world.  Further inspired by this is his insistence on not buying an in-game house, preferring to sleep wherever he can find enough room to stretch himself out so long as it is not on a bed.  He also refuses to eat or drink anything more than the simplest of things available in game.  When he has more gliders than he can readily spend, he gives them to lower-leveled players to help them purchase better gear.  It should be noted that while he engages in these practices himself, he holds no hard feelings for players that like to experience the finer things in game.
 
In terms of combat, how he acts is dependent entirely upon the sort of foe he is fighting.  If another player has attacked him, he will endeavor to avoid doing more harm to them than necessary.  Because of this, he uses very little of his strength and only uses techniques that require the use of his Ki defensively.  He prefers to disarm his opponent, and then subdue them by grappling; if that proves impossible he will instead do only enough damage to bring their health down to dangerous levels.  He will only bring a player's health down to dangerous levels if they are in an area where that player can quickly get to safety and thus avoid death.  If they are in a dangerous place, he will instead flee from the combat.  On the other hand, if he is in combat with an NPC then he shows both no mercy and a great deal of mercy at the same time.  He prefers to end the fight as quickly as possible, as if to minimize the NPC's suffering.[/spoiler]

Monk Robes <Light Armor>:  These roomy robes allow for easy movement during combat, making them ideal for martial artists to do battle in.  Provides a bonus to Ki.
Prayer Beads <Heavy Necklace>:  A set of large beads on a string, worn about the neck and used during prayer.  Provides a bonus to Harmony.
Twin Dagger Tails <Light Flail>:   A great length of light chain composed of interlinked blades, these weapons are typically associated with punishment.  The blades fit nicely together, and warriors typically wear them wrapped around their forearms when not in use.  Though light, the danger of these weapons lies not in the damage one can do with them so much as in their flexibility.  Dagger tails can be dual-wielded, allow a character equipped with them to strike at foes up to 4m away, and can be used for a number of things such as disarming or entangling a foe.
Enchanted Tattoos <Magic Accessory>:  Intricate patterns laid upon a character's flesh with unique materials into which defensive enchants can be placed.  These allow characters who do not normally wear much armor to give themselves an extra layer of protection.  Ko's tattoos specifically are enchanted to grant him extra armor as well as resistance against spells.

Hurricane Kick:  The monk throws a kick that sends him spinning about, striking all targets within reach.  Targets hit suffer moderate damage, and are knocked back a short distance.  Targets that strike a solid object, such as a wall or tree, are stunned for a few moments.
Ki Strikes:  The monk  takes a few moments to gather himself, and his body begins to glow subtly with energy.  While this mode is active, each of the monk's strikes consumes Ki in exchange for doing extra damage.  Targets normally immune to physical damage, such as spirits, do not take the extra damage, but now take damage from the Monk's attacks.
Earthquake Strike:  Taking a moment to gather himself, the monk throws himself into a monstrously powerful strike against a single enemy.  This consumes a great deal of Ki, but does a tremendous amount of damage to the initial target.  Furthermore, the force of the strike causes a shock wave to pass through the ground and deal damage to those in an area around the initial target.  Targets struck by the shock wave may be knocked down.[/spoiler]
