If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can add 1 Level 5 or higher monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Snatchshaper" once per turn.Shapesntch is the oldest damn joke ever. So that's nothing new.However...Ygo has a handful of fun/oddball monsters that Sangan used to be able to grab, back when it was around. So for all intensive purposed, this card is supposed to live off that idea; Searching oddball monsters.Off the top of my head, I can't really think of anything dangerous that's Level 5+ with 1500 or less ATK. Maybe Oracle of the Sun, but who the hell plays that?I wanted this to be LIGHT, but this card is supposed to be unsearchable on purpose. And Cyber Repair Plant is a card.Though, I guess DARK also works to make it more consistent with Shapesnatch, instead of a direct counterpart. Or something like that. Some high lvl monsters this can search are the Yubel Series, Metaion the Timelord, Big Benkei, Santa Claws, a few U.A.s, near every high lvl Gimmick Puppet (if not every one)... I mean, it doesn't search anything utterly gamebreaking from what I can tell (though an easy way to grab Metaion doesn't sound nice...) but it does have quite a few targets. I like the concept behind this though, effectively eliminating sangan's chance at coming back by letting something else fill the role of "gimmicky searchbot". as said above, Yubel would run this in a heartbeat, but that's not a huge issue.
