J-Max
I have tried some really odd food in my time including Battered Octopus Legs (Which was very chewy), Deep Fried Crickets (was actually really nice) and Horse. WHat have you fellow YCM'ers tried that is out of the Ordinary?

Brinolovania
I ate a (seasoned) worm once, when I was like 10. It tasted like absolute crap.
Maeriberii Haan
Grilled Cow Brain or something similar. It was surprisingly nice. It was maybe a stew, I forgot. Been a while.
Chaotic Angel
Pig's intestines, liver, chicken feet and fish eyes. The first ond was alright, the rest was bland.

Cool Girl
Me, being French. I ate frog legs and snails. I also ate bull testicules! The frog legs and snails were really good! Delicious! However, I hated the bull testicules!

Thar
There's this cuisine from the Sami culture in Norway that consists of flour and reindeer blood that I'm curious about.
a bad post
CowCow you might not want to read this. I kid you all not I have eaten fried cow balls. It wasn't as nasty as you'd expect, but it was pretty bland. Ok CowCow after this it's safe. I've also eaten snail before, but I never considered that to be "weird". Maeriberii Haan
Testicles in general are pretty bland imo. Idk, probably I didn't use enough spices.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Haven't really had anything too outlandish, outside of Noodles with marijuana in them. But other than that, I can't think of anything weirder.
Makο
Chicken heart and cow tongue tacos~ Chicken Heart is super salty. Like, incredibly so. Depends on your definition of weird. Weird as in, weird foodstuff? Probably aligator jerky. Weird as in weird preperation? Fried twinkies, I guess.
Cool Girl
That's fine! I love salty foods!
ihop
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auricularia_auricula-judae I've had a couple of these before, they're commonly called Jew's Ears and they really do feel like eating an ear, really chewy and cartilage-y. I wouldn't want to eat one again.
Zauls
I've not really eaten any unusual cuisine from foreign cultures, other than weed muffins in Amsterdam, if that counts? However, I've eaten some very strange combos of more common food, mostly for a charity thing back in high school. Said combos included raw sprouts in custard, spaghetti hoops mixed with strawberry yoghurt (the most puke-worthy thing I've ever eaten) and avocados with marmite. Speaking of weird food combos though, try this next time you go to McDonalds: Buy mozzarella dippers and a McFlurry. Dip said dippers in said McFlurry. Its really nice. Kinda tastes like donuts. J-Max
Testicles? Ewww... I may have actually tried that without knowing a while back. It had the same texture as Liver. Also would love to try Monkey Brain. Just for the experience if anything.
Northern Sage
Testicles? Ewww... I may have actually tried that without knowing a while back. It had the same texture as Liver. Also would love to try Monkey Brain. Just for the experience if anything. Instantly came to mind. (Stuffed peppers are amazing, on the other hand) Can't think of anything stranger than calamari I've eaten. Did enjoy it.

The Amazing Avian
I can give a list of Mexican foods outsiders would find weird. They're pretty good, but incredibly unhealthy. Off the top of my head: Menudo (cow stomach soup) Pozole (soup with hominy) Barbacoa (slow cooked beef or goat head)
Mr.Robot
Ate a snake heart that was cut from a snake right on our table during a trip to Vietnam. And Durian...
Maeriberii Haan
Hey, durian's ain't a weird food. It's just an innocent fruit qq It's actually really nice, tbh. Not my favorite, but it's quite good and not icky at all.
