Resident Fascist
1 "Shaddoll" monster + 1 WATER monster Must first be Fusion Summoned. Neither player can Special Summon monsters from the hand or Graveyard with Spell/Trap effects. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Shaddoll" Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. Trying to think of a good way to make her without relying on Neph-Shaddoll Fusion, not that there is anything inherently wrong with using Neph Fusion to make her, I just wish there were a few more options. That being said, this card is incredible. The fact it completely shuts down Nekroz is amazing, it also stops Satellar using Soul Charge, Call, Oasis, etc. She also has 2700 so she can run over practically everything that isn't a Qliphort. Really great card. Can't wait until the English release, I just am racking my brain trying to think of good splashable (hue) WATER monsters. Maeriberii Haan
Use the Nekroz Cycle/Clausolas mini engine. Or there's also Roots, which is always a nice card. Too bad Neptabyss's not around.
ihop
I've been considering Serpent as well as possibly Treeborn Frog, Serpent means you can constantly make them and Treeborn, while obviously being a bit annoying if you have a floodgate or something, can also be used as Beast tribute fodder. Other than that there's the obvious Noden when it hits.

Also I forgot Core, I meant to mention it in the OP but Neph Shaddoll is the first card that really comes to mind, at least before Core, for some weird reason. Use the Nekroz Cycle/Clausolas mini engine. Or there's also Roots, which is always a nice card. This is also pretty interesting.
Maeriberii Haan
Serpent doesn't sound too horrible in here, at least. It'll only serve function as fodder, but it would do its job enough, I guess. Treeborn...if Dolls continues being an aggro deck post CROS, then I can see it working enough. I need to touch the deck again tbh. Haven't even know well enough whether dolls would compete this meta so there's a lot of playing and testing to be had. ihop
I have them IRL so I've been testing a lot and they're definitely one of the better decks still. They obviously struggle vs Nekroz but so does everything, but this is obviously a massive advantage. I think this thing's legal for nationals too, fingers crossed I can pick one up. Hunduel
Noden is the obvious answer, however, it is OCG only. What about Jigabyte? Since the whole deck contains Spellcaster-Type monsters, it is a good Xyz fodder with Level 4 Shaddolls, and can be used for Anomalilith too. Sinister Serpent is also an option, and in OCG, you can also try out the Water Vassal. Treeborn Frog is there too, but it was already mentioned. Also, an Extra Deck card can work which is WATER and you don't need it anymore (like a Ragnazero without Xyz Materials)
Yemachu
Just a few thought: "Ice Hand" and "Fire Hand" that way you also have an option to summon "El Shaddoll Grysta" for what its worth; "Nightmare Penguin" can bounce a monster when its flipped; "Jigabyte" can Special Summon itself while you control a Spellcaster-Type monster, instant rank 4(?). "Blizzard Princess" locks your opponent's Set Spell/Trap Cards for the turn it is summoned and can muscle trough some monsters. Requires 1~2 tributes depending on the Tribute. "Fishborg Planter" can possibly trigger the effect of a "Shaddoll" card...
Zauls
I've been trying to put together a build that uses Treeborn for Lilith as well as tribute fodder for Vanity's/Majesty's Fiend. Throw in Black/White Dragon, Stormforths, a couple of E-Con, and you've got yourself a Shaddoll deck that beats Nekroz. At least, in theory... Either way, Lilith is awesome. Any current new mains/something to make the G1 against nekroz less of a pain? I have them IRL too so if they're going to be decent or good again pre-CROS, it would definitely be lovely. ihop
Actually, I like the idea of Jigabyte. It's serachable with King of the Feral Imps if you want to play that, and it makes it much easier to make rank 4 plays or synchros if you have Falco. edit: got ninja'd by above post. Maindecked Mistake is a good pick, as well as Peropero which I guess classes as a way to beat Nekroz since it's a Djinn out and punishes the opponent for Djinn locking. Resident Fascist
Does Jigobyte actually have any targets in Shaddoll, for the special summon, I mean.
CLG Klavier
-1/2 cards from your standard Shaddoll build +1 Treeborn Frog (+1 Sinister Serpent) All you gotta do.
Zauls
Does Jigobyte actually have any targets in Shaddoll, for the special summon, I mean. No, but you could always play Nefarious Archfiend Eater of Nefariousness, because it triggers Shaddoll effects in your opponent's End Phase, makes Rank 4s and makes Shekhinaga ;)
Spinny
Can confirm, jigobyte and co are really good in shaddolls. My shadcharmer deck worked really well.
CLG Klavier
"Problem" with Jigabyte is that it does work in the deck, but what does it actually do? It makes rank 4s with Squamata/Dragon or a rank 6 Synchro with Falco. I guess that's nice, but a constantly recurring fooder like Serpent or Treeborn is fucking amazing since by investing 1 deck slot, you can summon up to 3 Anomaliliths in a single game. Blake
I actually like the clausolas engine with ArmaKnight in foodstuff dolls. 3 RotA, 3 Arma, 1 Clausolas,1 Cycle. 1 djinn, too, as it's easy to dump.
