Secret Village of the Spellcasters

Recommended Posts

That would require playing Dance Pricess or Great Sorcerer, which would make the deck worse against anything that isn't Secret Village.

I wasn't talking about maining them; if Secret Village becomes that much of an issue for them, can't they just side either?  Dance Princess especially, since Naturia Beast is also a problem for them.

I mean, they could play Dance Princess and they could side it but it's really not very good in anything other than this situation, so it'd be weakening the deck and taking up a side slot only to help in one particular situation. It also helps protect your floodgates, so you can flip Mistake as they grab it with Brionac and not have to fear MST.

Exactly, Klavier

It forces Nekroz into suboptimal plays at worst, at best, they cannot play at all.

Considering your Dance Princess takes up your normal for the turn, the Nekroz player has to either have Dance Princess, Brio, or Prep in hand since Manju, despite being able to search Brio which searches Princess, takes up your normal summon which also means that Nekroz player will be forfeiting a turn in order to get around secret village should they use Manju/Senju.

Also, DPoN is also vulnerable to Bottomless and Mind Crush, and that's very painful since a good player will only run 1.
