DuelSpectre
This card summons vanilla Red-Eyes and is a quick-play spell (which Red-Eyes Spirit isn't). Would this see usage in Red-Eyes decks post-CORE?
ihop
Isn't there a trap that does literally that for all red-eyes monsters?
DuelSpectre
Yeah, but I was wondering if a quick-play spell version would be more versatile. This could be a somewhat worthy tech.
ihop
I'd say the ability to summon any monster outclasses the versatility of being a spell quite substantially. I have no idea about red-eyes but from what I heard even the trap's not that spectacular, so I'm not seeing it.
Sleepy
The issue with this card is that it'll only be able to revive your vanilla engine. In most decks that ran vanilla dragons I'd still probably go for Call of the Haunted before this. Then if maxed out, I'd still would rather go for the Wyrm fountain over it. The ability to revive other cards in decks like REDMD (which gives you an extra revive by itself), Silver Dragon (which gives you an extra revive by itself in the right timing), Scrap Dragon, etc is pretty valuable. Then again, I'm not extremely familiar with every little piece of Red-Eyes support coming out so IDK.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
I enjoy it as a 1-of, simply to help push for game.
