A Mecha Phantom beast support card

Never Give up, Trust your Instincts!

Normal Trap

Pay half your life points and banish 3 "Mecha Phantom Beast" monsters from your graveyard; draw 2 cards. Also you take no damage until the end of your next turn. You can only activate 1 "Never Give up, Trust your Instincts!" per duel.

I was debating if this card's activation requirement should require you to be behind somehow, but I ultimately decided on half your lp as a cost so its more flexible.

To be honest, I see this more of a late game thing, since most of your MPBs will be in the Graveyard and LP will more/less be negligible at that point (although can still be done mid-game if you really need to draw cards). And yeah, MPBs do need a way to search their pieces better; outside of Megaraptor and/or Gear Gigant X in certain builds. 

 

Although personally, I see the banishing thing to be somewhat counterproductive; especially in conjunction with Hamstrat and stuff like that.

With that in mind though, you'd probably be banishing monsters that you really can't use, so it's probably okay.

 

So in a way, this is more/less a comeback card for MPBs (as the name suggests); although given how things are lately, they'd be lucky if they don't brick later on (meaning that they don't get their pieces needed, even with the draw + LP protection). Although this can save the player from getting killed that one time, so there's that, I suppose.

If it existed, perhaps I'd run a copy or so.

Can probably test its efficiency on DP later, if you don't mind it being uploaded.

Thanks for the review. I'm glad I wasn't totally off. As for DP, go for it.
