Synergy I missed [Heroic Challenger - Thousand Blades]

Once per turn, if this card is in Attack Position: You can discard 1 "Heroic" card; you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Heroic" monsters, also Special Summon 1 "Heroic" monster from your Deck, and if you do, change this card to Defense Position. When you take damage while this card is in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card in Attack Position. You can only use this effect of "Heroic Challenger - Thousand Blades" once per turn.

 

I actually didn't notice, Pre-YCMCS1, that this guy has synergy with Tricklown. When you take 1000 burn upon Tricklown's revival, this guy revives as well. Obviously, this can kill you given that it has to summon in ATK, but that just means you don't use it when it can kill you.

 

And I already run Halberd as R4 support, so I can search Blades with him.

 

That said, idk if it's actually worth it. It's strong as hell, but it's a mediocre draw unless you're going second with halberd/have kagetokage, it generally eats a Lavalval Chain usage to get it in the grave, and it doesn't exactly have strong stats.

 

On the bright side, you only need to run 1.

I feel like this guy would be the most badass vampire hunter ever. *shot*

Also gonna point out that with Trick Clown, this guy can become a free Rank 4 every turn if you detach this guy to use effects.
