It doesn't undo someone's hard work like JD does and has slightly higher summoning conditions...however it recycles honest...such a hilarious card of evil. And to think in the manga it was a vanilla.

Higher summoning conditions than JD? You do realize you can tribute summon this, or summon it off any other card effect, like Soul Charge or Call of the Haunted or even fkin Valhalla?

Honestly, idg why this ever moved up on any list. Yeah, it had no impact, but it's a walking beater floodgate that gets you something back and comes back. At least the last part can be used to outplay your opp.

A number of cards came off it for the same reason (I believe).  Case in point: Magician of Faith and Tsukuyomi.

Both of which were banned beforehand and are totally generic cards that were steadily reintroduced...? Not seeing a real connection.

The connection is that Konami brought them back up at a time they wouldn't do anything of any relevance; why they did it at those specific times instead of say, another time, is unknown to me.

Also, if you want to be picky about their previous status, T.G. Striker and Agent Earth were also moved up when they were long past their time to be relevant.

Actually heraldry_lord is right here. Black, you mentioned that a lot of the cards were banned even due to the lack of impact. Then he brought up Tsukuyomi and Magician of Faith, which WERE kinda broken back in the day, but were recently unbanned because...of lack of impact. Konami bans things based on impact and you know it. If a card doesn't overpower the meta, it won't get hit.

Whether it will be taken off is another deal, because there are a lot of cards that were once banned and are still on the list even though those decks wouldn't do a lot nowadays (hi Inzektors).

Side-deck this in Infernoids. They call 4 for Reasoning. Then wait for the clutch.

Why would you call 4 against Infernoids? Not everyone runs Raiden, but surely everyone runs Dekatron, so calling 1 is safer.

Also...

...holy fuck, that's a VERY evil plan.

Just inferring to TCG 'noids. Everyone would be calling 1 when Dekatron when it comes cause it is the best thing for them.

Also in OCG-world they do the same for End of Anubis as well.
