Thar
GO ARMZ! ROW ROW, FIGHT DA POWAH!
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Let's see if Armz can make a comeback and get a 2-win streak (take home the gold in this one, in addition to his win during YMB 5). TBH, I wouldn't mind if he won; he certainly deserves it. BTW, after some testing, the Armz-like rep thing is at 2,500 for those who are curious about it. Agro
As for what Agro did in YMB 5, he only had 32 competitors [likely due to lack of staff nominations and other things], but basically did RR the whole way. (I'll explain it if you'd rather not search for it) I had 32 because it was a good number for making sure only the multiple-voted members got in. Anyone with only 1 vote didn't participate. I think what I did except with the final bracket being double elimination would be the best alternative. Pools were randomized, but one might consider placing pools based on number of nominations or past tournament placement.
Simping For Hina
I think Agro did the YCMB properly. Wasn't a shit thing, too much, when he hosted it.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Ooh, Robin's coming up on that pretty soon then. Yeah, a few more reps and Black will be in that range (2500), if he hasn't already gotten there by this point. As for the nomination thing, I did it on the mentality that if someone nominates you once, that's enough. With that in mind, 64 might've been a better choice (but again, I didn't know if we'd have enough members to fill that when I made this). Two more days, and the tournament finishes. I'll need to get the awards dealt with (and yeah, they will be GFX related).
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Well, it seems that I miscalculated the number of fights that would've occur (I thought there was going to be 6 fights, but there were only 5). So with that said, YMB 6 is over. (I've locked the thread in the absence of Striker) The final scoring stands thus (luckily no ties). 1st - CowCow - 10 2nd - Rodrigo - 8 3rd - Rai - 6 4th - Armz - 4 5th - Nai - 2 6th - Zextra - 0 So yeah, congrats to CowCow for being the winner of YMB 6. Although I wasn't in charge of the Redemption, that one ended in a 7-7 draw; so I suppose that means Hina and Unending end up as the 7th most popular members. I'll let Striker figure out what to do with this one. ------------ At the moment, I don't have the award images ready (thought that I had an extra day to prepare them, but I miscalculated). I'll PM them to you guys individually tomorrow. (Striker was technically in charge of posting the matches and stuff; I'm still in charge of the prizing and more/less keeping tabs on the tournament.) Just so you know, the awards are only for the top 3 (so sorry Armz, Zex and Nai). As to when Striker will host YMB 7; I don't know, but likely not until the end of the year or something. For future reference, I wish to abstain from nomination in the next one for the time being. If my decision changes before then, I will note it in the thread when it comes. Congratulations to the winners, and pretty much everyone who took part in this event. Hopefully the next one turns out even better than this one did (tbh, it did fine in terms of the match format).
