Superheavy Samurai Tsuzumi
Level 1 EARTH Machine-Type Tuner Effect Monster
ATK 300
DEF 300
You can only use the effect of “Superheavy Samurai Tsuzumi” once per turn.
(1) If this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 “Superheavy Samurai” monster in your Graveyard, except “Superheavy Samurai Tsuzumi”; Special Summon it.

I suppose this kind of makes up for not having Redox anymore. Also, it's Level is pretty great, allows for a lot more Synchro options. And hey, it can be used in non-monster mash versions as well, they didn't forget about me!

Wow, they straight-up changed the effect from the anime. Not that I'm complaining, this is awesome.

"If this card you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it."

It's not the same, but it still has the same idea to it.

The anime version is:

"You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Banishing 1 Tuner Monster from your Graveyard."

...I don't get why it has that OPT clause.
I mean, Superheavies are pretty gimmicky by default, and it can't revive copies of itself, but still...

I guess Scales, though Scales is already OPT, so it can't be abuse that much, sure it gives you upwards of 3 monsters that way, but still.

So...if you have a blank field and you can ss scales because your opponent has 2 monsters. You can go ahead and make Nat Beast and another lv 5 synchro... You can also double Catastor for Nova -> Infinity as well... I like it.

Which other cards do you include (as I do not see why the synchro summon = destruction) ?
