YGO vs/or/and MTG

I will say that MTG is more technically sound.

I mean, YGO is a game that's all about ignoring and breaking the rules of the game.

But I definitely enjoy it, if only for the novelty of broken bullshit and nostalgia.

I wouldn't say that's a better game than either, honestly. I love it to death, but it's really, really casual.

You can play competitively, but with the lack of an acual match system, plus the very mechanics of the game, it's... Not something that's easy to stick to.

It's like a flash fighter.

MtG for its variety, superior lore, Chandra's boobs, for being shockingly budget-friendly.

I personally prefer MtG, due to general lack of power creep in comparison to other games. I also like the fact it includes a resource system, unlike YGO, which is a very effective method of balancing cards and allows powerful effects without breaking shit. Another pro MtG has is legitimately worthwhile prize support, providing incentive to play competitively on various levels.
