Hello, fine peoples!

Ok, so I planned this archetype out AGES ago, but I never got around to making the cards. I finally decided to get it together and post the first few (the heroes, if you will). CnC would be much appreciated!

Storybook Archetype
An archetype of cards that play out like the unfolding of a story. "Storybook Plot"/"Storybook Setting" /etc. are a set of sub-archetypes of spells that supports the Storybook monsters.

Storybook Knight
LIGHT ****
Warrior
A brave knight of a faraway land. His exploits are as yet untold.
1950/1500

Storybook Squire
EARTH ***
Warrior/Effect
This card's name is treated as "Storybook Knight" for the purpose of card effects. When a "Storybook Knight" is Summoned while this card is on the field, tribute this card to increase that monster's ATK and DEF by 1000.
1300/1050

Storybook Rogue
EARTH ****
Warrior/Effect
This card's name is treated as "Storybook Knight" for the purpose of card effects. When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate cards and effects until the end of the damage step.
1700/1200

Storybook King
LIGHT ******
Warrior/Effect
If a "Storybook Princess" exists on your opponent's side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your Hand, then Special Summon 1 "Storybook Knight" from your Hand or Deck.
2400/1200

Storybook Queen
LIGHT *****
Fairy/Effect
You can tribute 1 "Storybook Princess" you control to Special Summon this card (from your Hand). If this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Storybook Princess" from your Deck to your Hand.
800/2600

Storybook Princess
LIGHT *
Fairy/Effect
If your opponent controls a DARK monster, you can Special Summon this card from your Hand to their side of the field. This card cannot be destroyed by battle if you control a "Storybook" monster. If this card would be sent to the Graveyard, shuffle it into the Deck instead.
0/0

Storybook Mastermind
DARK 10*
Spellcaster/Effect
This card cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. This card can only be Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field by tributing 1 "Storybook" monster they control except "Storybook Princess". Destroy all monsters you control except "Storybook" monsters. This card is unaffected by your opponent's trap and monster effects.
3000/3000

Storybook Witch
DARK *****
Spellcaster/Effect
This card can be Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field by tributing 1 monster they control. Once per turn, you can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. If you do, they draw a card.
1600/1800

Storybook Lava Beast
DARK ******
Pyro/Effect
This card cannot be Normal Summoned. This card can be Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field by tributing 1 monster they control. You must pay 800 LP to attack with this monster.
2750/0

Storybook Warwolves
DARK **
Beast/Effect
This card gains 500 ATK and DEF for each "Storybook Warwolves" you control. You can Special Summon this card to your opponent's side of the field by Special Summoning all "Storybook Warwolves" from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard to their side of the field. This card cannot be tributed.
400/0

Storybook False Princess
DARK *
Fairy/Effect
This card is treated as "Storybook Princess" while on the field. If this card is removed from the field, you can Special Summon 1 "Storybook Princess" from your Deck to your opponent's side of the field then add 1 "Storybook Setting" card from your Deck to your Hand.

Storybook Plot - Once upon a time
Spell
Shuffle all "Storybook" monsters on the field and in your Graveyard into the owner's deck. Gain 200 LP for each monster returned this way. If a monster from your opponent's side of the field was shuffled into your Deck by this effect, you can add 1 level 4 or lower "Storybook" monster from your Deck to your Hand.

Storybook Plot - Happily Ever After
Spell
If you control a "Storybook King", "Storybook Queen", "Storybook Princess", and "Storybook Knight" when this effect resolves, you win the duel.

"Storybook Squire":. When a "Storybook Knight" is Summoned while this card is on the field: you can Tribute this card to increase that monster's ATK and DEF by 1000."

"Storybook Rogue":. When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate cards and effects until the end of the Damage Step."

"Storybook King": "If your opponent controls a face-up "Storybook Princess" monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand, then Special Summon 1 "Storybook Knight" from your hand or Deck.

The archetype's monsters seem to have very simple effects, but this Deck seems to focus on an instant win Spell Card. It's a good premise, but it seems kind of slow.

Alright, first off, why do these cards only count for Storybook Knight for card effects only? You could take the Harpie approach and have them count as Knight while on the field. Also, I'm not sure if they would count as "Knight" for "Happily Ever After" since I'm certain that it is a win condition and not an effect.  Also, Warwolves seems like a cheap Ojama Trio to me. Maybe you could make it like Chewbone where if it is destroyed, it summons the other Warwolves to your opponent's field. I also don't get why you would need to summon Princess to your opponent's side of the field. Most monsters with effects like that have something drastic that makes your opponent want to get rid of them as soon as possible(i.e. Lava Golem, Grinder Golem, that one Volcanic monster, ect.), so it doesn't seem to offer any strategic advantage other than Once Upon A Time's effect, which I don't think would be an effective plan in the long run. Finally, Once Upon A Time I don't like. I would instead have it only shuffle cards from the field or graveyard(and not both) and draw 2 cards.

Overall, I think this deck has good potential, but could also use some Spring cleaning.

Thanks for the reviews! I didn't post all of the cards yet, but I'll say this now, the win spell card is nice, but actually pretty unnecessary, as is Once Upon a Time. The deck's actual focus is more along the lines of beating down weak monsters that you summon to their side while increasing your own strength.

The monsters that are treated as Storybook Knight mostly because of cards I still have yet to post. However, I also wanted King to be able to bring out any knight, which wouldn't work if they were treated as knight on-field only. Of course, if this means that Squire/Rogue can't fulfill the win condition, I'll have to reword them again.

Yeah, Warwolves is pretty cheap, but they are simply monsters to slay in order to reach the happy ending. In any case, they start out at a decent 1900/1500 so they can be pretty threatening to you if you don't have a stronger monster at the ready. The no tribute condition was actually less a worry about the opponent tributing them, but the Storybook player using them as tributes for level 5-6 Storybook monsters.

Princess is, well, a deck condition. The deck really can't do much as a lot of the Storybook spells need princess on the field on order to operate. King gets a swarming ability with princess on the other side, Once Upon a Time's secondary effect triggers, etc. Just think of it this way, would a King press action on a neighbouring area without any provocation? Of course not. But if that area took his only heir, you bet he'd do everything in his power to get her back.

Again, this is supposed to be a generic story-based archetype, so even if cards are unconventional, I wanted to be able to capture a story's flow. Thanks again for the reviews, I'll edit the card text and add a new batch of cards soon!
