- Minimania -
Imagine Dragon Rulers being like: Blaster, Dragon Ruler Of Infernos If this card is in your hand or Graveyard, and you control no cards: You can banish a total of 2 FIRE and/or Dragon-Type monsters from your hand and/or Graveyard, except this card; Special Summon this card. During your opponent's End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Return it to the hand. You can discard this card and 1 FIRE monster to the Graveyard, then target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. If this card is banished: You can add 1 FIRE Dragon-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos" effect per turn, and only once that turn. You can only control 1 "Dragon Ruler" monster. And all the other dragon rulers become like that This can prevent OTKs caused by Number 95: Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon, prevents Lightsworn from being too sacky, AND prevents unfair Rank 7 Xyz plays, while at the same time, retaining the usefulness of the Dragon Rulers and possibly reviving the deck (even though it can't use Rank 7s anymore) Thoughts? Wildflame
First clause pretty much kills them. Honestly, what I'd do is keep them in a rotation of 2 of them Limited per format, and the rest banned. That would prevent them becoming a deck, and help decks that actually need them. Toffee.
.....Why does everyone insist on trying to nerf these cards?
The Warden
Probably because Rulers are still more or less useful to the game; and can have a part in it if they're about 50% less stupid.
Ryusei the Morning Star
.....Why does everyone insist on trying to nerf these cards?I made them fair. You can't use them and the chibi's in one turn You can't use multiples You can't use more than on in a deck easily
Slinky
There is no card named "Dragon Ruler". Your errata won't work like that. @TEW

- Minimania -
I understand why we're nerfing them and why everyone wants them nerfed, but you don't have to DESTROY them. I liked them when they were a deck. People complained about them because of the Rank 7s they can pull out, but with my errata they can't. I think my errata would make them fair without doing to them what Konami did to Crush Card Virus.
