They have Machine Derp going for them, and that's all they really need in the face of being somewhat able to mix in with things like Synchrons. It doesn't search two "Deskbot" Pendulums; it searches one "Deskbot" monster. That's a major difference. It's like saying Pendulum Call does what Insight Magician or Skullcrobat Joker do already, which is obviously false. I do concede that Machine Dupe can help with that though. Blake Posted June 28, 2015 Report Share Posted June 28, 2015 Pendulum Call is actually a card that you have to run at 3. It's there so that your brick hands aren't as bricks as they could be. The fact that insight can't be used that turn is a serious pain in the ass, and it makes Pendulum Wizard/Sky Arc harder to take advantage of early, as well. And if you want to Odd-eyes they turn, you have to forego pendulum summoning, or the scales will be clogged. It's great at what it does, but the protection clause is funking painful to play with. I wouldn't call it mediocre, but it's not the best card in the deck by any means, and no other deck should get Onomatopaira clones. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it had the same Spell/Trap removal effect that 005 does, it would feel more consistent with 005 as both of them could back and forth with their respective 3rd effects.
