Malevolent Goblin

Shuffle 1 monster from your hand into your Deck; add 1 monster from your Graveyard to your hand, then send 1 monster from your Deck to your Graveyard. Card effects cannot be activated from your hand and/or Graveyard the turn you activate this effect. You can only activate 1 "Malevolent Goblin" per turn.

I tried to make the card relatively OK. I tried to eliminate its biggest dangers (hand and graveyard), since these are the aspects the card manipulates (hence making it as Normal Spell and targeting only monsters). Worst case scenario, you already have your field prepared for plays or you prepare your hand and/or Graveyard for immediate advantage next turn.

EDIT: I already have some lines in mind to add to limit its power, but I'll wait to hear what you have to say.

EDIT2: Changed the order of the effects so that they're less beneficial.

Well, the card itself seems alright, except for the fact that you can add the monster Send from the Deck to the Graveyard to your hand. You could solve this by having the monster be added to your hand before the other is sent to the Graveyard, and use "then" instead of "and if you do". I think that would fix it.

If it weren't for the limitation clause, this would be somewhat abusable in Dolls.

That, or whatever Decks that want to dump stuff (which is rather common now).

As it is now, it can be used for setup for later; but otherwise that's it.

However, it is still monster recovery from the Graveyard and/or shuffle a dead draw into the Deck and subsequently mill it for reviving later or something.

------

Considering how grave-oriented the game is now, it helps for setup.

  You have a point people.

I was thinking, though, that even if the card blocks any effect abuse, the monster(s) added/sent to your hand/graveyard can still be SS'ed (by themselves or by another card), thus gaining high advantage from the setup.

If you (and others) think this is the case, then I can add a line or two to tone the card down a bit.
