Degritone
[spoiler=Summoner of Illusions.][spoiler=effect]FLIP: Tribute 1 other monster, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. Destroy that Fusion Monster during the End Phase of this turn. Have this and any other monster on the field and BESD in hand? *flip* Suddenly, BESD is on the field. But it requires set up and too much time. Thank god Melody provided a little boost to the deck.
Synchronized
Yeah but you've gotta count that the meta would do it as well. Every time I've seen a card that is like "oh hey this would go GREAT in a Blue Eyes deck" the meta has already figured that out for their deck and sheet. Point in example, Djinn Releaser of Rituals. Thought I'd try a build on Sapphira and Paladin but Nekroz already just about broke it. That doesn't make any sense in regards to what I said, though. Meta Decks could probably find a way to utilize an ED Prisma, but in a way that breaks it? I fail to see how without really sitting and thinking about it. Sure, I guess you could like use it with Barkion/Beast to make Exterio faster, but that's still a 3 card combo at most. As for your second point, I'd argue that Nekroz didn't break Djinn, Djinn broke Djinn. It's poor design that is nearly impossible to respond to. Extremely slow and not at all worth what you have to go through. It requires not only that this card survives so that you can use it on your turn, but also (unless you're bringing out Gaia Drake, lol) that you have another monster out and that your opponent doesn't have Veiler/Vanity's etc. That effort and waste of at least one Normal Summon is not worth it to bring out a beatstick that isn't all that great. Azuh
I just love how this card was released in the TCG before Ultimate Dragon lol
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Yeah but it would probably be abused as funk. Problem with Blue Eyes is that unlike Red Eyes, it doesn't share an archetype name. So as of now, Blue Eyes can't get cards with an effect like "add 1 Blue-Eyes monster from your deck to your hand". Konami really needs to rethink this kind of thing. Eclipse Wyvern is a thing.
Neutrality Man
As for your second point, I'd argue that Nekroz didn't break Djinn, Djinn broke Djinn. It's poor design that is nearly impossible to respond to. Djinn was made that strong because Ritual Summoning as a mechanic has been absolute shite since Day One. Gishkis only saw the list because of a three hour long single turn loop, and Nekroz are only as stupid as they are because of all the search options... and now the mere existence of Nekroz is making the entire mechanic even more unplayable because all the generic support is getting list action
Yellow Jacket
Eclipse Wyvern is a thing.I do like the thought of Eclipse Wyvern. I'm just unsure about the banishing part. You'd have to run maybe a couple of banishing cards to get off Wyverns effect and that sort of goes against Shining Dragons effect. However, Soul Release might be an option because you could still banish that Wyvern and then wreak havoc on your opponents graveyard.
