When using this Synchro Summoned card as a Synchro Material, you can use 1 monster in your hand as a Synchro Material. This card is unaffected by other monster effects.

 

I honestly don't know what to say about this, other than it being a level 3 Synchro tuner that uses cards in your hand

I'm surprised this is the last Secret tbh. I knew we were getting this, but I was expecting it to be like a Rare or something.

You could say it's a Secret in the English version of the set, which means It'll be ungodly expensive.

I'm assuming it's 'Child Dragon' because 'Baby Dragon' is already taken, and this is the same color as the later anyway, so...

I actually really like the idea of a Level 3 Synchro Tuner. Level 3 doesn't have many Synchro options, and it gives more options when it comes to Accel Synchro Summons. The ability to Synch using a monster in your hand is also REALLY cool.

 

Although it depends on whether you can use 1 monster in hand as the ONLY other Synchro Material, or if you can use monsters on the Field as well. Most of the "use X from hand as Material" effects make you use only that monster (TG Cyber Magician, Eccentric Boy, Malefic Parallel Gear).

 

But this isn't worded the same way as those.

Speaking of Synchro tuners. All the other synchro tuners have a Spell-Speed 2 effect to allow synchroing on the opponent's turn. This doesn't have that. So, that takes away from it's value a little.

Theonly Synchro Tuners with that are Accel Synchron, Formula Synchron and Wonder Magician. The latter 2 because they actually performed Accel Synchros in the show, the first just as A reference to Accel Synchro. Life Stream, Phonon, Puralis and this do not.

Puralis doesn't.  I too like the concept of a Level 3 Synchro Tuner that can Sync with a monster it hand.  It gives more value to the Summon rather than just being another tuner for another Synchro Summon.

As far as I can tell, it can multi-Tune, yes, and you don't even HAVE to use a monster from the hand.

This is one of the best cards in Neptabyss Atlantean. Being a level 3 tuner that uses hand advantage is pure value.

 

It's a fine generic card, as well. Like Red Resonator, it allows cards in your hand to be power cards instead of the tuner itself. Less so than red res, but same idea.

If we ever get a synchro archetype that has a floating effect triggerable from hand and can summon this, this'll get really sweet. And tbh the notion's not too farfetched.

 

Kind of disappointed that this is a Secret though, and on that note, also about the Secret lineup for the set.
