CLG Klavier
2 Level 4 Fiend-Type monsters During either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; at the end of this turn's Battle Phase, Special Summon as many monsters from your Graveyard as possible that were destroyed during this turn, and if you do, you take 1000 damage for each monster Special Summoned by this effect during the next Standby Phase. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Covenant" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "D/D/D Caesar the Wave Overlord" once per turn. I really can't believe how much I was misreading this. For ages I thought that it's restricted to things destroyed in battle (I mean, Battle Phase and all) menawhile it's even more ridiculous than I thought. Suddenly I find myself making this way more often.

CLG Klavier
There is a reason I run TT and two dark hole.Yeah, I was wondering why, but gdi now it makes sense. Still feels kinda gimmicky to try to force activations on this though. Better to just use it as a safety valve for D'Arc, espeially since the deck isn't that desperate for board wipes and unlike Burning Abyss, you don't actually GAIN anything from killing your stuff, even with Ceasar up. You just mitigate it.

CLG Klavier
Gain LP and search a covenant.Well yeah but there are only so many Covenants which are already incredibly searchable with constantly reusable Keplers, and you naturally have plenty of life already. Like, I get the concept, but still feels gimmicky to run 2 Holes AND a TT.
Blake
It's insanely underrated because you have to run Cerberus. On the flipside, Howling is really overvalued for a card that only makes +0 synchro/fusions. Fusions are fine for a +1 with Kepler/Lilith... But the available synchros are rather mediocre, which makes it omly good post-setup... or with Swirlal/Hellgate + Kepler/Hellgate, which is a worse T1 than the Kepler/Lilith/Abyss Ragnarok/cerberus if lucky. Like, having access to Alexander is alright at times, plus Howling has this utility of re-using effects of Lilith/Kepler.

CLG Klavier
and 1 is what should be run kali yuga is juzt overvalued, as are the synchrosThing with Kali Yuga is that it's the kind of card that looks strong as funk, but then you realize it's actually "bad", but THEN you realize that there's not that much harm running it because sometimes you will get to summon it (especially easy with Slime) and it will win you the game at that point. ~Faytl~
Very underrated. DDDs are essentially o OTK deck: Swarm like CRAZY, remove as many of your opponent's things as possible, then SMACK them in the face for game. This gives your OTKs that much-needed security if they manage to screw it up for you, and can just put you in a better position for it as this will net you a search and a destroyed Temujin will net you a recursion. CLG Klavier
butthat's the thinghaha you said butt /s But yeah, I've seen the build in question, and I genuinely wonder how it did well. It had too many cute things, and the sole fact it was a Kali Yuga turbo makes me question it.
