Hello!

3 "Burning Abyssmonsters with different names
Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summonedby other ways. Cannot be targeted by an opponent's card effectsOnce per turn, during either player’s turn: You can send1 "Burning Abyss" card from your hand to the Graveyarddraw 1 card. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, or if this card you control is sent to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect: You can send 1 random card from your opponent's hand to the Graveyard.

Well, i kind of like this in the way that it seems like a good boss card (similar to what people said about towers). It has protections, it floats, and it's summon condition and effect fits in with it's deck. I think it's quite nice, but 3 materials makes it a bit costly and increases the fact about how little it sees play. Discuss this kinda cool card.

A slight example of why it WAS on-topic :P

Liliana was White, then she was black aswell. but i digress.

Still not exactly 100% on topic if you read the OP but w/e lol it was true

I think he was refering to the story though, im not sure about how he exactly became some sort of saint.

He really didn't, he just took a trip through Hell. If that nominates a person for Saint-hood, when I get out of my house I'll be waiting for that nomination.

Ot: It's a little underwhelming for the cost to summon it.

I can't see them censoring halos on Treeborn Frog but being fine releasing a card that implies the death and ascension into heaven of someone, which made me wonder.

Well he is a fairy, so i would assume some sort of outer power came into effect, i.e the goddess looking figure in the fusion spell

the difference is that this is based on classic literature, which is also why all of the names of the Malebranche got through in varying degrees. If a parent had a fit over Danre's funking Inferno, they would be laughed at, unlike using Satan/Shaitan and the other Infernoids whose names are from Demonology or books like the Book of Enoch.

There's also the matter of time. Treeborn is from GX era, iirc, which is when the game was strictest overall. It's lessened slowly with time, though nowhere near as much as on release.

As far as flavor, you have to remember Inferno was only the first part of The Divine Comedy, with parts 2 and 3 being Purgatorio and Paradiso. So basically, the first Dante was him in hell being guided by Vergil, and this is him at the end of his journey, now having ascended. Also why he's a fairy now. In this game, fairies are effectively angels.

As far as the card itself, I like it. A lot. Almost makes me want to play BA.

Did anyone actually read the Divine Comedy, maybe we only have to study it in Italy because Dante was italian, because i honestly expected more people to know about why in this card he's an angel.

Btw, the angelic figure in the fusion spell is Beatrice, the girl who dante loved that died and was Dante's guide in Paradiso.

The card itself is good, i never played BA, but this card seems just very good. I don't think they have any problem with 3 materials and the effect seems good
