So, a universal Call of the Mummy?

 

Considering how this can put together otherwise inconvenient Synchro plays, I'm not exactly very fond of it.

Ok... so it's basically a better Call of the Mummy/Water Hazard/Herculean Power etc, in that there is no Level, Type, Attribute or archetype restriction, and there is also no once per turn restriction, which could be useful if you had a way to efficiently remove monsters from your side of the Field (such as with Gemini Spark).

I'm not too fond of making a card which blatantly outclasses so many other cards, and although those kind of cards are now not needed as much due to Pendulum Summoning, not all decks can use Pendulums well, and I feel the generic-ness of this card is bad.

 

Personally, I would give it a cost of some sort, or make it only able to summon certain things.

As the above users already mentioned, this card outclasses every other card that allows you to Special Summon a monster from hand if you have an empty field.

You need to put a restriction on what it can summon (or a hard OPT), because as-is, what's stopping you from playing a boss monster with full effects and not needing a Tribute?

 

Granted though, certain Decks would appreciate it as they have a lack of summoning power right now, but yeah there are a lot more bad things with this card than are good.

This card is extremely powerful. I think the best way to approach a card like this  is to think about certain decks that may need the help and try to focus it on that specific theme. For example Melodious could really do with some Special Summoning power so it could be 'If you control no monster, 'Special Summon a Level 4 Fairy monster from your hand' something more like that. If you was to make it 'If you control no monsters,Special Summon a level 4 monster from your hand' I think it would be too strong so really try to focus on what you think could use the help.
