LIGHT/Rank 4
Spellcaster/Xyz/Effect
3 Level 4 monster
During either player's Battle Phase, when an opponent's monster effect is activated: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the activation, and if you do, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. Once per turn: You can send the top card of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard.
2700/1200

Probably one of my favorite numbers out there. Used by Vector in the anime. Will this card be more useful in future meta? Discuss!

If Performage Nekroz actually have merit outside of ARG format, then this would be really good there for pretty much sealing games like Gungnir can, at a higher damage threshold to boot. Slightly harder to get out but with Jus Uni and Hatricker this is good.

Also Klav, ARG Nekroz iirc have semiweak Kozmo matchup, and it shows. Afaik they're still the best deck but the difference is pretty miniscule.

Well yeah but as far as I've seen, Nekroz are still THE deck to beat. Dunno, I'm just looking at decklists.

Also regarding this card in actual meta, I legit feel it might be an ok tech in decks that can make 3-mats, so Igknights, Performage variants, Tellars and such. It can be activated in Damage Step, so it negates things like Shaddolls, Dante etc. as well in addition to the Valkyrus, so it can hit a pretty wide array of things.

Well being the deck to beat and being T0ish is not really something close.

But anyway, the main issue this card has when it wants to compete with the other 3mat R4 for slot is pretty much its narrower activation range. Delteros and Ouroboros solves a lot of things in general and Amaterasu's a combo extender. Card still has merit as a tech in R4 strats, but competition's really stiff and it's not going for this guy's favor.

"Deck to beat", "best deck in the format", semantics. End point is that you heavily gotta tech against Nekroz.

Delteros and Orobouros pop the board and Amaterasu is a combo extender, alright. But this is a finisher. You summon it as the last Xyz and remove your opponent's possibility to even respond to your kill by floating BA things, using Shaddoll effects, trying to Valk you, and other nicher things like Battle Fader or Gorz. It's not so much of a competition because they all do different things.

Yo Performage Nekroz just topped a relatively major tournament over here. They're relevant even outside of ARG format. This card's good, but decks not playing Seraphs have too many 2-mat rank 4s to fit it and decks playing Seraphs generally are playing lots of other stuff too plus Delteros and Ouroboros at the very least take priority over this. If you can find room for it, it's fairly good, but the actual instances of use are limited.

Was it the one only using the suite of 1-2 juggler and 1-2 clown or is the build uses a bigger suite including tricker?

Also, with Norden on the horizon...the future might be bright-ish for this card. Being able to seraph harder will definitely help 104's viability too.

All it used was 2 Juggler 2 Hatricker, no Clown. Here's the profile.

I am happy that people are finally appreciating my favorite Xyz

He's not good outside of Seraph decks or Clownekroz, but he's still a very, very decent card at worst. If say he's tied for third best generic 3 mat, with Amaterasu. Amaterasu is more niche, but 104 isn't as powerful.

The mill is also good against decks like Qli, albeit not amazing. Lily actually beat me once by monster reborn into masquerade and milling me for my last few cards over a few turns.

I do have a fondness for No.104 among the 3 Mat Rank 4s, at least. My Heraldic Rank-Up Deck still uses it, because C104 is evil as hell, and No.104 makes the rivalry my Heraldics have with my Galaxy Deck all the more intense, since so much Galaxy support puts Galaxy-Eyes in DEF, letting 104 swing over it, but admittedly, the Deck rarely uses 3 Mats, and it just exists as an option, and another outlet for The Seventh One.

But that aside, I genuinely like No.104. It's one of the more amusingly flexible Over-Hundred Numbers, because a LOT of effects are Battle Phase specific or get Triggered often during the Battle Phase. Floaters, Honest, Galaxy-Eyes, etc.

The mill 1 effect is just comical, depending on the matchup. Some Decks WANT you to do this. Other times, you'll mill a key card. But it's an effect that's easy to forget exists.

Yeah, so this card is pretty meta-defining actually. There's more Nekroz Clowns than regular Nekroz atm and the main reason is because this really is a good way to out Valk. I completely underestimated it, card's amazing and you're gonna see it in Nekroz mirror matches everywhere.
