Just an idea that i had....i suppose it could be good against deep draw, but really the card was just thrown together on a whim.

Neither Player can conduct their normal draw during the Draw Phase. Neither player can draw cards during the Main Phase. During each player's Standby Phase, the turn player adds the bottom card of their Deck to their hand. (This is treated as drawing a card).

I'm going to assume that he forgot about it when designing this card.

Although here, it locks off draw effects except during battles (and mostly only if a monster nets a draw when something happens).

 

Mistake locks off searchers; this one doesn't prevent searchers from doing what they do.

 

HOWEVER, combine this with Mistake and effectively neither of you can get ANY cards, except during drawing a card when something happens during the BP.

This is pretty much like having the Yata Lock present, if you remember what that is.

So yeah, keep in mind Mistake exists and this card, in conjunction with it, effectively turns the game into Yata Lock (if that's an appropriate description).

Essentially, you are stuck with whatever cards you have on hand at the time, and if your board gets wiped out, you really have no way to recover.

Sorry. I did forget about mistake. What if i added a parenthetical clause to the last sentence that says

 

(this is treated as a draw).

 

That would help stop the "yata lock" and instead, just slow the draw potential. Also, this card does still allow drawing in the Draw, Standby, and End Phases as well as the Battle Phase. It specifically stops the normal draw and drawing in the main phases only.
