Kuri-Call

Quick-Play Spell

Discard 1 card; you can add up to 2 "Kuri" or "Transcendent Wings" cards from your Deck to your hand. During either player's turn, you can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Kuri" monster from your Graveyard to you hand.

 

This seems pretty straightforward... I hope. Some of you people are nuts.

CnC would suffice.

Most created kuriboh support cards like that say Except a "Karakuri" monster. Apart from that it looks solid for a kuriboh deck. Weather or not a kuriboh deck is a good idea to begin with even with this I'm not sure. Maybe add a kuriboh win condition? By that I don't mean "alternate win condition" I mean an offense based boss monster or something

Kuribohs are okay as side techs most of the time; they've gotten more support in DOCS, but they're more for BLS stuff.

As for the restriction, yes this can search Karakuris; suppose you could specify "Fiend or Fairy-Type", so it only searches for the Kuri monsters + not the other stuff.

 

(Then again, Karakuris aren't classed as Kuri monsters on the Wikia anyway.)

For the card itself, it CAN trigger both its effects on the same turn you play it.

Essentially, search 2 Kuris, and then recover a dead one from the Graveyard.

 

Probably recommend that you change it to a hard OPT (you can only use each effect of "Kuri-Call" once per turn).

For the first effect, make it search "Kuri" cards, except "Kuri-Call", because, you know...

 

>discard 1 kuri monster ->search 2 copies of this

>banish the copy in the grave to add the discarded kuri back

>use the two other Kuri-Calls to search more and add back the discarded costs by banishing them...

 

instant +3 is not fair.
