Breaking of Bread Ritual Spell

This card is used to Ritual summon "Christian God". You must also tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total levels equal 12 or more.

Heaven Field Spell

Every time a monster is banished, you may gain 500 Life points. If a monster you control is destroyed in battle and sent to the graveyard, banish it instead.

Site rules: In order to use DIVINE/Divine-Beast, you must explain your reasoning. It kinda also doesn't fit the theme of the God cards(not being Egyptian and all).

For the critique: "Christian" monsters don't exist in the main game, so this card is already impossible. Also note that you have to include the word "monster" when listing generic materials(as in unnamed). I would also like to note that "Heaven" is not an actual card, so the effect makes no sense. Are you sure that this isn't suppose to be part of a set? Finally, that third effect is WAY too powerful. Keep in mind, balance before flavor. Sure, God might be an all-powerful being, but the game doesn't care. Two level 6 monsters are not as hard to get as you may think(there's a card that can raise the level of ANY monster by 2, so no buggy). Also, you just make 2 of these then you're just rubbing salt into your opponent's wounds. Just banish 6 cards at maximum every turn and gain a maximum of 6000 ATK every turn. Broken much? Not even Nekroz of Trishula is that bad. At least it can only activate once and has to be ritual summoned to do so.

Bottom line, change the effect or SEVERELY nerf it. It wouldn't even survive 1 banlist.

As a side note, you do have to post the effect of your card(s) along with the card. It's so people with vision impairments/on mobile devices can read your card clearly.

  • What do you mean by "explain my reasoning" Do you mean why is it that I made it a "Divine-Beast" card?
  • I was planning to make this a part of a set in the future, so in that case should I have put this under the "Casual Multiples" even if I was probably only going to make one that day?
  • I was waiting for a third-person input on the effects. I'll add in a nerf.
  • I'm thinking of making a ritual summon for it. (Seems more ceremonial)
  • I was also planning for you two have only 1 "Christian God" in a deck.

Edited: For future reference, If I am to post another one of these, where should I post it?

1. Yes, you have to explain why it's DIVINE.

2. No. You need to have 2+ cards to go in Multiples. If you have the tuner and/or Heaven already, then do post them both.

3. and 4. No comment.

5. Irrelevant. Shurit was only played at 1 anyway, but it still got limited. Even if you have only 1, you still have a monster that can banish 2 cards and will gain 2000 attack every turn. It still wouldn't last very long because of the potential of what I just said. Not to mention this would be a faster and probably more powerful Quasar deck.(3 synchro monsters for Quasar vs 2 monsters for this card)

Just as a sidenote, Divine-Beast IS allowed in this section (Casual Cards), but you should have a reason for doing so.

Basically, is the subject in question of high enough status to get this treatment. (Usually for deities and other high beings)

I should mention that there have been other Divine-Beast monster besides the original gods (see Aesir/Polar Star), but those got edited upon official release.

In this case, you'd be okay making this a DIVINE monster, since God is indeed high enough in stature to qualify as such.

(Although that and the DIVINE Attribute go together)

----------

As for its second effect, it'll require that you have this aforementioned Heaven card out. You may wish to link to it, or edit the main post with it later.

(I will move it to Multiples afterwards).

Right now, its stats depend on stuff being banished, so unless you use this in a banish-heavy Deck, God won't get too powerful.

As for the banishing effect, you can get rid of the high LP cost. Sure, banishing a card is heavy, but shouldn't cost you 2K.

If you wish to keep the cost, then just lower it to 1000 at most, or remove it entirely.

This is a Level 12, so it will take some degree of effort to bring out; look at Herald of Ultimateness.
