jackelgull
Lore: In the Kingdom of Magdala, a powerful cabal of alchemists rule from the shadows. Wielders of enormous skill and powers, they amuse themselves by experimenting on the brawlers who fight in the nation's coliseum for honor, glory and the adulation of the crowds. Alchemists: These guys have the ability to remove from play cards from the Graveyard to activate effects. [spoiler=Alchemists]Lore: Once per turn you can lose life points equal to the attack of a level four or lower alchemist monster and special summon that alchemist monster from your hand or deck.Lore: If your opponent activates a spell, trap or monster effect while this card is on the field, you may pay 1000 life points to negate that effect and destroy that card. Once per turn you may banish a card from your graveyard to add a spell card from your deck to the hand.Lore: When this card is in the Graveyard, remove it from play and pay a thousand life points; search your deck for a Brawler type monster and add it to your hand.Lore: Once per turn, you may banish a card in the graveyard to draw a card. Lore: Once per turn remove from play a card in your graveyard to force your opponent to discard a card from their hand. Brawlers: These guys have abilities that activate in the grave. [spoiler=Brawlers]Lore: When this card is sent to the graveyard, your opponent must reveal their hand. Control of this card cannot switch.Lore: When this card is sent to the graveyard, search your deck for a brawler type monster and add it to your hand. Discard all cards in your hand and send all cards on your side of the field to the graveyard except for monsters level eight and greater; special summon one Immortal Brawler from the hand, field or graveyard. Tribute one face up Brawler monster on your side of the field to special summon an Alchemist monster in face up defense position.Once per turn you may destroy a Brawler monster to increase the ATK of another monster on the field by the ATK of the destroyed monster until the end of the turn. Special Summon as many removed from play Brawler monsters as you can. Halve the original ATK of the summoned monsters, and destroy them at the end of the turn they are summoned. Activate only when there is an Alchemist monster on your side of the field. Remove three Brawler monsters in your graveyard from play; draw two cards. Note: Another card I’m worried about being too overpowered. It’s basically pot of greed. I think the conditions are restrictive enough to warrant it though. Once per turn, during your standby phase, you may add a banished Brawler monster to the hand. When a face up Alchemist monster you control would be destroyed (either by card effect or battle), you may discard a card to negate its destruction. TheRocketCrafter
The Deck has potential. The main problem I see is the card art's themselves. Some seem to watch the overall style of Yugioh while others are simply real-life photos,
MarcoTheKiller
Punch Drunk Boxer and The Wise Philosopher need to be effect monsters to have those abilities, otherwise you can just give them generic flavor text.
jackelgull
Updated with more spells and traps and different effects. I apologize about the card art. Will see what I can do. Dova
First off, I think it's best if you change your title topic, by editing the main post. As for the cards themselves, it's an interesting idea for a Sub-Type. What do you mean by "Sacrifice" on Lab Rat? Do you mean Tribute or Destroy? You can change "the attack of" to just "the ATK of". You alternate what you call your monsters from "an Alchemist" to "an Alchemist-type monster" and "an Alchemist monster" but it really should be "an Alchemist monster" and "a Brawler monster". Is Mad Scientist's effect supposed to be Mandatory? You need a bit of OCG all round, there are quite a few errors. As I said, I like the idea. Be interested to see where this goes.
