The Nyx Avatar
LORE:If you Ritual Summon a WATER Ritual Monster, this card can be used as an entire Tribute. You can discard this card; add 1 Aqua-Type Ritual Monster or "Gishki" Ritual Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand.
Blake
Holy hell, no. First off, you made a Pendulum for an archetype that is, explicitly, dead. Its only remaining members went on to form the Nekroz, so the flavor makes no sense. Now let's go into Flavor a little more. All Gishkis, with the exception of Diviner (who is not from the Duel Terminals, but was released in a main pack), have an even level, because of their rituals needing exact levels. Diviner is a Gishki in name alone, as it doesn't fit the deck at all, and was likely just to get some form of support. Then we go on to the Pendulum Effect; Why the hell is this a Qliphort Scout for Degeneracy the Deck? I mean really, what the funk man? Why would you give a deck that accels in looping and PSeudo-FTKing/Zielgigas OTKing this? It's just a terrible idea in every way. And then you even gave it the full tribute effect, and an on Normal Summon effect. This is an example of doign way too much in design, being ignorant of what a deck actually does, and just plain throwing design standards out the window. Second off: Archetypes such as Ice Barrier, Draguntiy, and Crystal Beast have had cards made even after any other cards were made to support the archetype, even well after the archetype had much relevance. Third:"a Qliphort Scout for Degeneracy the Deck?". What is "Degeneracy the Deck". Specify. Fourth:Was the fact that it was a Pendulum Monster unecessary or overpowered? From what you typed, I couldn't tell. I've now dropped the Pendulum from this card.

Like I said, it's about Looping and OTKing, not some fair playstyle. IT's a you-can't-play-Yu-Gi-Oh! deck, and this just makes it more consistent, which was a huge flaw with it. 2/4. psst. This was a Pendulum. Legacy support is one thing, but a Pendulum, a power foreign to the DT world until after Gishki died out, is not. Removing it was a good idea. It lacked any and all flavor, and only addded too much power to the card. Not that you'd really ever Pendulum Summon, but it made it more Shadow/Visions (iirc) in every way, WITH an extra effect. now it's just really weak, and the deck wouldn't use it Fincess/Abyss are better NSs, and Beast is better in some builds. Spinny
If it had the full tribute effect thing i'd use it tbhAlso since all the other full tributes are hand-effects, why not have this one as a hand effect? Also im pretty sure it'd have to be level 6, since vision and shadow take up 4 and 2 for the full tributes...

Spinny
Now atleast it doesnt make the deck more consistent, just makes OTK attacks alot nicer to setup.
