You can also Xyz Summon this card using a LIGHT Machine-type Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that card are also attached to this card) When this card battles: Your opponent cannot activate cards or card effects until the end of that battle. At the end of a damage step this card battled a monster: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Draw 1 card for each Xyz Monster attached to this card as Xyz Material.

Unless there is a somewhat accessible way to add Xyz material to Xyz monsters(I kinda remember there was a gimmick for that a while back but naturally I have no idea if it's in play now), the draw more effect's kinda tame. Summoning it the normal way means you draw once and the other material is dead. Using a LIGHT machine Xyz to summon it gives three draws total assuming said Xyz was a 2-material monster(and most Xyz typically are) and its effect hadn't been activated yet. Without the battle effect I'd probably run other R5 monsters over it, but with that and the nice draw-more effect, it's just about right.

 

Although just the card art alone would make me consider running it.

The concept is interesting, and you can bring this out from Ptolmao-nova play over Infinity if you can't access infinity for some reasons.

Still, it really desperately need other targets for it atm.

Umm, yes, this is more or less a non-bork version of Infinity. Also a 2600 Armades for things like Chronomaly. Though, Ptolemao-Nova-This nets you an Armades that gives you... what, 2 draws?

 

Though, I agree that it's really lacking in targets. Maybe some day in the future with Legacy Cydra support.

You could be silly and try the following:

 

3-material Stellarknight --> Constellarknight Diamond -> Constellar Ptolemy --> this --> attack and draw... what? 5 cards?

 

You would have to wait 1 turn, though, since Diamond can only be played on MP2.

 

Constellars can also gain access to this through Praesepe, by the way, Personally, I'm not a fan of non-archetype-specific Xyz-evolution Xyzs because of the potential unfair or abusive tricks such as the one above, but I agree with Nai that this needs more targets to Xyz-evolve from.
