Monster Effect:While you control another monster, this card cannot declare an attack. This card can be treated as a Normal Monster while in the Graveyard. This Tribute Summoned card is unaffected by your opponent's Spell/Trap Card effects. When this card is banished: You can pay 800 Life Points to target 1 card on the field; banish it. I'll start off by some of the things I likey or was somewhat intrigued by: 1) The banish effect does have a little niche... If I recall correctly there is a card called "Cards from the Sanctuary" that allows you to banish a Fairy-Type from hand then draw 2, but it prevents you from Special Summoning or Set for the rest of the turn. So the combo with this in mind isn't too broken, you can draw with that drawback and still proceed to hit something like a spear and shield combo. 2) The tribute effect is actually somewhat easy to achieve with Gellenduo and 1 of the Melodius monsters that give you the option to tribute them as 2 tributes. So the "cannot attack while you control another monster" drawback is kind of nicely placed in terms of balancing her cause that Spell/Trap immunity is nasty. 3) The menacing attack gives her that boss monster-esque feel. Now for some of my personal nitpicks: 1) That scale is a bit too much... While it isn't say a generic scale and there are probably quite a few high level Light Fairies I would probably like to see being used. The one thing that I can see and would really hate to see is another means for Archlord Kristya (being a level 8 and all) to be Special Summoned. While yes that is 1 card in the range of Light Fairies... Kristya with that Special Summon lock is abhorrable. At the very least I would say the scale should be 8, and if you wish to make her accommodate herself with that scale make here a Lv 7 (after all it would give her more utility with her banish effect given that Sacred Sword of the Seven Stars can banish her). 2) The being Normal in grave is a bit too gimmicky as she is a Pendulum which do have the propensity to not be in the grave as much unless she gets stunned by say Solemn Notice or Warning which in this day and age would be common, but even then there are only a handful of things you can do with that Normal Card Typing. The best I could see with it is either Daigusto Emeral Special Summoning her from the grave, or Swing of Memories to do the same, and yet disregard the drawback as it would put her back in the Extra Deck instead. Overall, I think she would be a good utility asset to Light Fairies with the support that they are currently given. One more thing to mention: I think the best way to get the banish effect without missed timing on certain cards like the ones I mentioned earlier. You probably could change the OCG wording from "When this card is banished:" to "If this card is banished:". Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
