(GigaDrillBreaker) Posted November 12, 2015 Report Share Posted November 12, 2015 Played a few games against a deck with her as the commander earlier today, and I gotta say it took me by surprise just how quickly she can count to 21. I have dealt with Rafiq and Derevi before, but this really is its own little terror. She requires no equipment to deal relevant damage (unlike Derevi) and has evasion that Rafiq lacks. You know I suck at playing Commander, but I am probably somewhat good with theories and game strategy. Rafiq is generally accepted to still be better than Jenara. While Jenara doesn't require anything else to be a threat, she goes back to square one if someone removes her. Further, Rafiq usually only needs one piece of swag to become lethal. Double strike is a nasty ability. But I digress. Playtested a +1/+1 shenanigan build with her at the helm, and damn she's fun. Definitely an underrated general choice.
