Aix
Do we have a good Level 9 Synchro yet? I don't follow the game. The Saint of Swords DARK/Level 9 [Warrior/Synchro/Effect] 1 Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner monsters This card is unaffected by other card effects. If this card destroys a monster by battle: Shuffle the destroyed monster into the Deck, and if you do, this card loses ATK equal to either the ATK or DEF (whichever is higher) of the shuffled monster until the end of the turn, also it can make another attack this Battle Phase. ATK/ 3000 DEF/ 2500Contemplating boosting ATK to 3100.
Astolfo
Your Kirito card is sheet 2-mat R9 that's 3000 (and you're contemplating 3100) when it has absolute effect immunity and can use its effect unlimited times per turn (would probably still be 2-3 out of just logic of attack reduction). Barely saw the "of" in the name, the Level didn't stand out at all and had to actually search for it for a moment, because it blended in. And by my memory, you said translucent effect boxes looked like sheet, so take that as you will.
VampireofDarkness
Whereas I am fine with the general drawback + big effect clause, I am not 100% sold on this. Probably it would be ok though if you made it require 2 Non Tuners or have it require a Synchro Monster as material. (Tbh thinking the latter might not be a bad option, but I guess this depends on what you want to be going for) Btw, as for good Level 9s, Trishula got unbanned. As for this card, the problem becomes moreso the investment of risk vs reward, in which can make this overwhelming. Another suggestion, as such, would be to have it lose equal to the shuffled monster's ATK or DEF, whichever is higher. The wording is in Evil Hero Infernal Wing if you need it. That being said, the effect as a whole is really strange and interesting. It's basically a big beater with a lot of beef to it, but then it comes with immunity. It is sort of like Towers, but not Towers. Tbh what makes this relatively fine though, unlike Towers, is the fact that there are more manageable ways to get over it. So not too bad, just don't raise it up to 3100 and maybe make it require just a little more and it'll be fine for the most part.

I feel like the ATK/DEF thing wouldn't make that much of a difference, would it?
VampireofDarkness
mmk changed it to 2 non-Tuners. I feel like the ATK/DEF thing wouldn't make that much of a difference, would it?It would make a rather large difference actually, as it eliminates a number of outs, most notably Number

Sleepy
[spoiler=tl rd, It's very pretty but not the most effective in functionality, but I'm sure you already know that]The choices in it are as pretty as it can be, but the text in the effect box kind of looks just as transparent as the box's blur itself, so I found myself looking for the lore under the card instead. I get that it was probably difficult to choose that text since it both a ) can't really be any other color or it would lack unity and therefore look less pretty, and b ) using this color at the same time, even if it were to be inverted on the font, is bound to somewhat mix in with the colors of the image despite the blur of the box.I have no experience with making the layout of cards so I'm certainly no expert, but I think a text that looked more strong and could pop out of the box rather than blend into it would be more useful. I'm also a little bothered by how the image covers a little bit of the Attribute, the Levels, and the card's name, and that the Levels had to be downright stated above the effect text just to make sure (because if Konami ever gets weird and decides to print Synchros with Ranks instead of Levels and give them a means to Summon them, it'd be weird to have messed with the colors of the stars, but I guess that'd belong in experimental cards so it is a far stretch if anything so I can get around that). I wonder why the Attribute's color was also changed. It doesn't make much of a difference since it is still readable and the new color still implies DARK, and I guess the original colors would have made the eyes gravitate towards that standing out like a sore thumb.... though can't help but think it'd be a bad thing if it was done to all cards since something that can be noted with a glance at best, now would require going in to read the super tiny DARK letters, and it could be anything because the Attribute color would prioritize having unity with the image over functionality. The name being covered is kind of, very essential. It covers about 5 characters worth of space, and the game uses names very precisely to the point Hero and HERO are different things. Yes there's a good Level 9 Synchro in the game at the moment since Trishula is at 1. On the non-generic side, we have the Silver Eyes Dragon, especially combined with the upcoming Blue-Eyes support in honor of the 2016 movie. The card could have just the immunity effect and it'd still be solid. I like how it is a relatively safe attacker that says no to many floaters and to Pendulums. It's immunity to all players's effects actually hinders its ability to keep on attacking since you can't exactly boost it back up with an effect and have it keep going. Otherwise you could have some weird shenanigans with Reverse Trap. Instead, by the time it is ready to make the second attack I expect it to be no bigger than 1500 in the best scenarios.Overall I like this card quite a bit
Aix
Hmmm yeah, Oricass tend to value appearance over functionality and I decided to do that since I knew I could place the written version below. I took advantage of the online medium in my latest orica though, although the text may still be a little unclear.
