Final Battle: Opportunity

Quickplay spell

If a level 7 or higher and/or rank 5 or higher monster(s) on the field was destroyed this turn: special summon 1 monster from your deck, then your opponent must special summon 1 monster their hand (if possible). This turn, your summoned monster inflicts piercing battle damage if it attacks a defense position monster, but it cannot attack directly. During the End Phase, lose LP equal to the original level of the monster you summoned by this effect x 300.

After the strongest form of Zelos was defeated, his remnant came crashing down, thirsty for vengeance. Thus the final battle began. The chance for peace was near, but so was total defeat.

design notes:

My first thought was trying to have 1 battle decide the game, but we all know how that turned out:

So I improvised a bit

edit: yes you lose LP even if your monster isn't face-up anymore

Free piercing Obelisk for 3k at end phase? That's cool (in a way). But this doesn't stop the original problem: What if the player that activates this card summons Jowgen/Dyna? Sure, they lose 900 LP at the EP, but it's still a Jowgen/Dyna for free (resource-wise) at the end of the day. If you change it to "and" (instead of "then"), they will be considered to be summoned simultaneously, so you cannot stop their summon with Jowgen/Dyna. I do think, however, being able to summon any monster is a little much, especially if you are playing Fire Kings (with big Garunix). This is a very strong card and, possibly broken (depending on the monster summoned). You could add a cost of "[discarding] your entire hand (min. 1)" to cease some further combos and seem like a "final last resort" kind of card (what I think when I read "After the strongest form of Zelos was defeated, his remnant came crashing down, thirsty for vengeance. Thus the final battle began.").

Hmmm does this card mean you have the right to see your opponent's entire hand to confirm they don't have monsters that can be Summoned?

Then it is also a quick play Last Will that doesn't care about stat limitations.

It'd be cool to have had this during Dragon Ruler format because they'd be able to use this pretty well. Also more than just a few Xyz capable decks can make use of this.

Not attacking directly with it can be played around, and the LP damage only comes if you didn't win that turn, so I can't say they are the most effective of drawbacks, and it'd be nice to have a hard OPT clause because it cannot miss the timing.

Last Will's potential comback is somewhat debatable nowadays last time I saw a thread on it, and I'd be more exited about this card for rogue decks than meta-worthy, so there's that going for it, but I wonder if it is really tame enough in practice to go in casuals. I think it is not situational, but rather restricted to certain decks.
