My second post.Hope you like the cards.

 

Card Lore: Defeated by a noble warrior ages ago, the world had forgotten about Lord Gorus, a powerful demon who sought to destroy the world and rebuild it in his image.Centuries past and people forgot, but one day a group of necromancers decided they wanted to revive the fallen demon lord and use his power as their own.Years of preparations and sacrifices later and they finally managed it, but his body was a mere shell of his former self.The necromancers deduced that Gorus was too powerful to be revived at full strength and would take time for him to return to his former glory.When the necromancers approach the revived demon they didn't have the chance to utter a single word for they were all dead;destroyed by a single hand wave of the demon.Even in his weakened state the mighty Gorus could not be controlled by mere mortals.

Now with his sights set on the world again and with nobody to stop him, he waits for his body to return; but in the meantime he decides to not make the same mistake as last time and begins his search for the ancient swords of negation, powerful artefacts that will ensure Lord Gorus has no equal.

Personal Input: Best played in Dark World because of all the restrictions and the nice synergy.

Then there's the fact that you use solely the deck for your summon fuel. While you can return the higher ones to your deck through their effects, you might want to consider letting them be Summoned from the Graveyard as well as the Deck.

Another wording thing: "Effect Monster effect".

The text isn't redundant. One stops you from summoning DARK Fiend-Types and the other a specific monster. I originally had the text: You can only control 1 "Resurrected Lord Gorus" monster.

ok, i misread the line. thought you were saying you could only summon lv 3. sorry.

i mean if you read the rest of my second point, you'd see what i mean.

and when i said "Effect Monster effect". I meant that's what you should have. cause you have "monster effect".

A good example i can give you is Light and Darkness Dragon.It says "...the effect of an Effect Monster is activated...". Now,it could say when the effect of a monster is activated, but it doesn't.If that's like that why can't mine be like how it is as well?

 

Also, i can read your second point 100 times and i still wouldn't understand what you meant.Maybe i'm just stupid.

and you don't want to use stuff that's not pst as a basis for your wordings.

I finally got what you meant by "Effect Monster Effect".You confused me so much i had forgotten what i wrote.Yeah,the text has no problems,there are plenty of cards with the exact same text.

 

Also you didn't justify why summon them from grave and not just deck.

stuff get's the grave....... that should be enough of a reason, imo. and post pst, it should be "Effect Monster effect"

Okay i'll give you some random examples that use the same text as me: Solemn Notice,Photon Strike Bounzer,PSY-Framegear Gamma,Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabit,Clear Wings Synchro Dragon,Abyss-scale of the Kraken,Evolzar Dolkka and may others.

Any other text complains or can we talk about the actual cards?And that juicy lore i cooked up for them,what did you think about that?

Interesting set, however it kind of forces the player to somehow pull through a few horrible turns to basicly win afterwards, perhaps ... nah nevermind taht is the initial purpose of LV monsters.

Perhaps you could add a few spells/traps to support the playstyle and keeping gorus safe from cards like castel, otherwise the opponent would jst be able to castel one of the later forms and gain too much momentum for such an easy play as dropping a singel castel.

The later forms are extremely strong, however that is to be expected considering the amount of investment and efforts it requires to keep him safe for several turns.

I could make spells/traps for that but honestly there are plenty out there already like solemn and forbidden lance.

 

You are exactly right in the playstyle,survive until at least LV7. But don't forget that the monsters also gives you a lot of draw power, combine that with dark world that already have draw power and you get cards for days(if you don't brick i mean). It's kinda weird to make a deck since you run out of cards so fast with him, i play a 45 card deck and i still run out sometimes(that's why i put the shuffle effect for LV9, it originally wasn't there).

If tour guide was at 3 the deck would be more consistent since LV monsters can upgrade even with their effects negated, but since it isn't i play 3 scarm.

 

If i were to rate the deck it would be Tier 2 since it can be easily stopped dead in its tracks by a ton of cards that are in play right now.

Gorus cant send itself to the graveyard if summoned by tour guide. it can destroy itself, then resummon itself, and then use that effect however. A single spell or trap that searches the level 3 would greatly help your deck, therefore allowing you to consistently run a higher number of the higher levels, for that pot of greed and graceful charity like effects that would synergize well with dark worlds.
