Snatch Steal

Recommended Posts

This deck was inspired by sakura kiss Nirvana, the opening to naruto Inu x Boku
Wow, the "in progress" is real.

Description: Disintisects utilize mass pendulum summoning to aid in fast ritual summons of floodgate-ish monsters. They all have effects that trigger once tributed, and the deck basically runs off of tributing. As Insect-Type monsters, they set themselves apart from most of the other decks that have roamed around for a while (has anyone else noticed Konami's tendency to make everything Spellcaster/Warrior/Machine/Dragon? It's annoying and destroys creativity).

You can banish this card from your graveyard (except during the turn it was sent there); add 1 "Disintisect" monster from face-up in your extra deck to your hand.

Strategy and Support: Insect-Type support helps the deck with its already above average search power, especially Danipon and Gokipon, since all of the monsters have 0 ATK or DEF. Manju/Senju are obvious choices, although may slow down the deck in the wrong circumstances. The deck is a little stally, although perhaps pivotal into offensive tactics with Sabas's ability to strike once at each enemy, potentially clearing the board if you have enough power from a scale or the field spell. An OTK may be possible, but perhaps somewhat difficult with the lack of raw power the deck possesses. Overall, you should be able to pivot out of bad situations given the right cards.

Weaknesses: Floodgates are the solvers of all problems. A well-timed Vanity's Emptiness shuts down the entirety of the deck's offensives, while swords of revealing light Ignister Prominence, Skill Drain, Tiaramisu (my cardfu <3) or even Hi-Speedroid Chanbara can mess with the deck's defensives. Also Doom Donuts. Doom Donuts is a thing.

Lore: To be honest, I literally searched for bugs on Deviantart and made it into a deck. I think more about current cards that can be used rather than anything else.

Speaking of which, all art is from Deviantart and I do not claim to own it and stuff.

Edits: Added actually atractive pendulums

Am going to nerf the rituals to have less ATK/DEF once I finish studying for midterms ugh

"Doom Donuts" can easily wipe out many of the monsters.....with 0 stats, some of the rituals does a bit too much, like "Olum" which can easily heal 1000 LP or more each turn and "Kitilik" which inflicts damage and negates effect, plus tributing can provide a boost to other "Desinsect" monsters....

Honestly, this deck is standardized amazingly. The weaknesses are bold and it can easily be stopped, but even so some of the rituals stats are a bit much. Olum has a bit too much atk for a lvl 4 ritual. See unicore for example, he is balanced because of his stats. It isn't that hard to get Olum on board or any other ritual for that matter so i think his stats should decrease.

Heads up, use TCG Editor for pendulums. They have clearer images then yugioh card maker too

Yeah, TCGEditor is a massive plus. I do all my work there now. If you can't get it for whatever reason, give me the pictures and I'll make them.

A ritual Pendulum Deck? Huh, that's got to be a first (oh wait). The scales seem alright, and I like the fact they are all level 2 as opposed to 4. Flip effects are decent, not too powerful or weak, and the tributing effects are nice field wipers. I would say more regarding the Pendulumness, but so difficult to read ;-; (sorry for rubbing it in).

And now, the Rituals. Veba and Kitlik have neat effects, and rather good stats, but the other two....the highest ATK for a Level 4 is 2500 (Shared by that Kozaky monster and that Norden Counterpart) and giving 0 DEF doesn't give you an excuse for high ATK (Not saying that's what you were doing, just making a point), because anything lower than 1000 doesn't make much difference. Their effects are alright, but I would suggest ATK around 2400 - 2200.

The Ritual Spells are very interesting. I was looking for something different to Nekroz, and that's what I got. I like both special additions, but I was wondering if the banishing from Extra was a bit much, maybe you could just send to grave? In that case, you could add something to do with adding or summoning from Grave, due to the fact that you can tribute pends from hand with the spells to send to Graveyard.

All in all, good cards, but, just curious, where did you get the names?

Taking damage is not a difficult thing in this day and age, so an extra 1000 life points here or there shouldn't be too much. Kitlik could probably use a OPT clause.
