Ritual Spell Card

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier". Tribute monsters you control or in your hand whose Levels equal exactly 8, then Ritual Summon 1 "Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier" from your hand or Deck. You can only activate 1 "Ritual of the Beginning" per turn. If a "Gaia the Fierce Knight" monster is Special Summoned, you can banish this card from the Graveyard, then activate one of the following effects:

- Add 1 "Kuri" monster from your Deck to your hand.

- Send 1 "Kuri" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

 

So probably the last of these before I decide to throw these in Advanced Multiples. This card on its own merited something IMO so it will go there. Self explanatory. Pre Prep and Super Soldier float synergy.

Funny thing is, when you say "Kuri" monster, it also include Kara"kuri", so maybe change into:

- Add 1 Fiend-Type "Kuri" monster from your Deck to your hand.
- Send 1 Fiend-Type "Kuri" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Naw, bai bai Machine-type Karakuri . . .

 

Well i prefer the Spell can summon any Ritual Black Luster Soldier monster, not restricted only to Super Soldier

Wait! what? from hand or Deck?! okay . . . i'll take it back.

 

So with pre prep, add this and super soldier, ritual, ss super soldier from deck and tribute super soldier in hand? when super soldier leaves, float gaia and kuri?

 

Overall is nice, but bls.dek needs a card to bring sacred soldier easily . . . and their play with gaia + kuri (7+1) and 2 bls child (4+4) is a bit weird imo.

Honestly, what would be a huge boost for Super Soldier is if the requirements were lax and let you go above 8 for the materials. Then you could tribute both Gaia's and that's actually a really good play. So, like Kana said, making Super easier would be nice, and having the "Let-you-go-above-8" part would really help in this. It broadens the combinations of monsters you can use to tribute.
