Childhood toys/games

Well here goes:

I remember having a jar of blocks when I was 5. From there I developed a habit of playing with different toys at once. I got yugioh cards when I was 6, but nobody really knew how to play. When I was 7 I had a accumulated a bunch of toys, so much so that I had a large box of them. I would dump them all in the living room. When I was 8, I had some dinosaur toys and several random action figures. By 9 I started using shoes to play with as a "room". I also had a bunch of cars. I would make entire cities out of all the toys I had. I would make a huge mess and made a scene about no one helping me pick them up. I'd play indoors, outdoors, and in the backyard. By 10 I had 2 boxes of toys and eventually had dragons to play with. By 11 I had nearly 3 boxes and would start using each box as a battleship of sorts and placed my toys in a fashion that would make it look like one. I would have battleship wars with my cousins.

To be honest, I stopped playing with my toys until I was 12 1/2. Is this normal?

You thought this would cause drama? lol

The whole battleship with boxes thing sounds super fun.

well, as I am 14... I can't really talk much, but here goes: When I was younger I had almot an entire box of Hot Wheels (I still have them on the Storage room tbh XD) I also had things like a Goku plushie when I was 7... I remember I drew a Hole on his chest to make it look like Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon (Don't question, I had DVDs of the uncensored version, I also had a few beyblades when I was 9... All of them are broken now, I had 7 yoyos, and broke them all... other than that, I had a few wooden tops and a domino box... Which I eventually lost all around the school, outdoors, that kind of thing... That's all I can remember for now... Oh yeah, let's not forget: hundreds of bootleg yugioh cards. (Think about an entire shoe box of these things XD)

The first thing that popped into my head was the Megaman Battle Network series. It's got the best games I played when I was a kid, and getting the "rare" chips was always a joy ("strong" chips like Dynawave were "rare"). Another fantastic game I can think of is Astro Boy: Omega Factor. I replayed that thing countless times, and it never got old firing a fully upgraded arm cannon and making short work of bosses that originally gave me trouble. I kind of regret trading it away for a copy of Team Protoman, that's how good it was to me.

As for toys, I really loved the few Transformers toys I had, particularly Megatron. I also had a Ben10 Omnitrix that I wore to school everyday, so that definitely deserves a mention (with a Wildmutt toy as an honorable mention).

I also had some transformers action figure knock offs that I would get at my local oriental mini mall.

Although I got genuine ones when I was 9, and even had a star wars transformer. And awesome crossover in my opinion.

I got my first console, a Nintendo Gamecube when I was 10 for Christmas. The first games I got was Mario Kart: Double Dash and Burnout. I'd eventually get Super Mario Sunshine on my birthday when I was 10. I finished the story but not on 100% completion I'd also get Metroid Prime on Christmas later that year. I never finished thar game because I was stuck, but when I was 13 I finally completed it.
