(This Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon.) You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck using that monster as a Material, except Synchro Monsters. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted January 26, 2016 Report Share Posted January 26, 2016 And here we have the Synchro version of Instant Fusion.Though, much like Instant, it allows for Decks to go into Rank 4 spam of their choice (in essence, play this first, then any regular 4s you want and go). I'd add a lock on the monster so it cannot be used for Xyz Material stuff (even if you can't have monsters out, Decks can still generate the necessary monsters to go into the ED stuff after you play this). There's also Fusions and Tribute fodder, but those shouldn't be as dangerous to contend with. In other cases, it does make Accel Synchros somewhat less of a pain to go into (at least for bringing out stuff like Formula, Phonon or whatever in Decks that can't go into them normally). Summoning Herald of the Arc Light with this card can already be a +1, then after that you're giving even more value to Instant Fusion. Of course, this is harder than it seems because of the banish effect, but can possibly lock your opponent out of cards and effects for 1 turn.
