So 9/10 the monster effect does more damage than its anime counterpart's effect... but the monster effect isn't why people want Pendulum Dragon.

And Mirage. It is definitely an interesting alternate form to OEPD and can allow Odd-Eyes Pendulum/Phantom/Extra Deck forms to run over Ultimate Falcon, (Towers), Magnus and the like of them, not to mention a somewhat safe 2.4k burn is not all that bad and being a second target for Nobledragon is not bad either.
