Is there anything "Vampire" as an archetype is missing in support?

LORE:While you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. Once per turn: You can banish 1 Zombie-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard; Special Summon 1 DARK Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard. While you control a face-up DARK "Vampire" monster with a different name: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.

I get the impression you are trying to find a middle ground between Shadow and Duke. And if that's the case, you should give this card a 'can only be used as an Xyz Material for a DARK monster' clause, mainly because Shadow and Duke also have it; Makes it more uniform with the other 2.

I'll see about it. Though, is there anything that the "Vampire" archetype is missing that I can integrate into this card?

Make it 0 DEF and the dark xyz material to pair it with his brothers, it can be more beneficial and iteract better with some zombie cards.

As for what can be integrated, i dont think it needs the normal summon effect, you want to normal is shadow to get the deck going, duke gets them out of the grave too without a cost, although this does it once per turn but banishing from grave to get another zombie from the same place doesnt seem efficient to me.

They need someone to SS itself somehow that effect is actually something they needed, to me veteran should do something else the other 2 cant do or dont cover yet
