Lightsworn Discussion!

Recommended Posts

I'd say don't use 60 cards in the deck. The only deck that ever deserved to have any business running 60 cards was that one zombie deck that I can't remember the name to. Tower of Power or something like that...

I'd say that you should NEVER run more than 45-46 cards, unless you had some uber powerful cards that REQUIRED you to run more.

It's one of the only good cards that Jaden uses :/

Well Mr. Know-it-all thinks otherwise:

Yeah' date=' milling your own deck is bad. That's why Card Trooper is a terrible card that nobody uses.

Did you not see the "owait"? Do you not know that Card Trooper was once so popular that it was (and still is) Limited, and still sees use?

Card Trooper is an excellent card.

Milling can be bad (Spells and Traps), but it also can be good. (Monsters) But on top of the card's it gives you access to in the Graveyard, it also increases chances of drawing into important cards in your deck. Basic Math. 3/20 is better than 3/40.

Also, Card Trooper has no place in this deck. What's the point? Every single one of them has its own milling effect.

I've tried a Lightlord with Trooper, and it really just gets in the way.

Nothing beats a pure Lightlord deck, though a Cyber Valley was good for recovering lost Dragoons when used in conjunction with Solar Exchange.

And when it comes down to non-pure Lightlords, Wightlords are fun to play, because you get to summon Dragoon AND a King of Skull Servants with something like 5000 ATK.

I like the name "Lightsworn", it sounds perfect.

This deck benefits from being self-milled. What I frown a upon this deck is that important Spell/Trap cards may get Milled by a Lightsworn monster you control. I did hear this deck is good, so except a lot from it.

Limited cards being sent to the Graveyard by the Lightsworns is very devastating.

yes mill is good

but too much mill is bad i mean chances are you will end up milling away all the cards you would need

i mean i saw a guy mill his 3 raizas and mirror force and stuff liek that wich lol is why i won ^^

Any card has the same chance of being milled as it has of sitting on the bottom of the deck for the whole duel and never being drawn. The only difference between these two is that a milled Mirror Force can be retrieved by Valley/AFotP/Mask of Darkness, if you want to retrieve it for some reason.
