Target 1 face-up monster you control. Special Summon 1 Union monster from your Deck with the same Attribute as the target. The monster Summoned by this effect cannot be tributed, or be used as a Synchro or Xyz Material monster. You can Banish this card from your Graveyard: Return 1 Fusion monster from your Graveyard to your Extra Deck, and if you do, Draw 1 card. You can only use 1 effect of "Combination Adventure" per turn.

Part of me wishes Unions had better Spell/Trap support.

I'm probably going about this all wrong, but whatever.

I agree.

Anywho:

This card Special Summons a Union monster from the Deck, but you can't Synchro, Xyz, or Tribute Summon with it. The most you can do is Fusion Summon. The card looks solid; bringing out a Union monster from the Deck would help them out. Right now, they don't have a foot to stand on. The most Spell/Trao support we got was Roll Out. And that card would imply that you already had a Union monster. Overall, nice work!

Well, part of why it allows for Fusions is because ABC and XYZ use Fusions made of Unions, and because Dark Blade the Dragon Champion is a card- It's another Fusion that uses a Union as a Material.

Also ABCs are pretty incredible by themselves, but they, realistically, lack a real push that gets them going; This card was also meant to be just that. Srsly, while it's cute that ABC Dragon can use them from the field/Graveyard, B-Buster Drake alone doesn't quite cut it. Or at least the way I'm seeing it.

You could be pro with this and play it in lol old school Roll-out Machinas for searching and Summoning a Peacekeeper after Normal Summoning a Gearframe.

But seriously, it looks like a nice support card for Unions.

If anything, I wish the card was more generic in the sense it was able to support all Union pairs rather than just some of them (for instance, this card won't help the Burning & Freezing Beast duo, nor Lei Lei & Ailin) but that's just a nitpick and they are waaay far from being relevant anyway; then the grave effect is clearly intended to support the XYZs and ABCs, and yet the card's name and artwork don't have anything hinting at those archetypes; instead one would think it is a support card for all Unions, which it actually isn't. But that's is also a nipick and the first effect should be enough to support most Unions; in a way the grave effect is more of icing on the cake.

The 2nd effect supports Fusion monsters because XYZs become Fusion monsters, ABCs become a Fusion monster, and Dark Blade and Kiryu become a Fusion monster.

Also the name and the fact it's a Quick-Play are a nod to Combination Attack.

Plus...

Despite the fact Freezing/Burning/Lei Lei/etc exist, that's just a small price to pay. Mainly because I wanted this to be generic-ish, without being an Emergency Teleport copy-paste. Which is also why it doesn't really destroy the Summoned monster or anything, as seen on similar cards. So I figured binding it to Attributes would still give it some relevance, without it being too over-the-top.
