During each Standby Phase: Excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck; add the same number of monsters as excavated monsters from your Graveyard to your hand, then take 500 damage for every Spell/Trap Card you excavated.

PSCT can be a bit of a pain to write for certain effects.

But anyway, did you intend for this card to trigger during both player's Standby Phases or only your own? As a whole, I guess it's fine for Graveyard-heavy Decks to recover their resources, though those Decks already have ways of recurring. Come to think of it, I don't know if Sylvans would like this for recovering stuff; probably not.

Please read every single part of the topic. It will help you a lot, trust me.

This card's effects are very confusing and horrifying to read. It's 1st effect make no sense to me. Also, it's 2nd effect have the potential to be very broken or balanced, depending on your Decklist, which makes the card bad overall since it's too dependent on luck.

Too generic. Any card that can support any monster, or any spell or trap, is highly likely to be broken. That's why we usually stick to archetypes.

What do you do with the 3 cards?

You don't have a once per turn. It can trigger an infinite number of times during the standby phase.

That's pretty awkward, Sakura. Lemme try.

Once per turn, during the Standby Phase: Excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck, then add monsters from your Graveyard to your hand equal to the number of monsters excavated, also lose 500 LP for each Spell/Trap Card excavated.

I mean, I could understand what he meant though, even without either of us having to fix it.

Just going to assume that the cards are just excavated and returned to their original position or something, but even then, it would depend on luck (however you had the Deck set up). I would think the cards would be shuffled afterwards, but looking at Sylvans, they move the card somewhere instead of leaving them alone. If you want the cards to remain in the same spot, then you'd need to write "return them to their original position", but I'd advise not to.

But yeah, OPT is needed here.
